This past Sunday (Feb 12th) I hosted a little giveaway of some books from my personal library.  On the Triple C Ranch Saga Facebook Fan Page, I personally gave away a copy of "All-Time Favorite Cowboy Stories" by Rochelle Kronzek.

I ALSO gave away a "Mystery Gift."  The Mystery Gift was indeed a book, and NOT a copy of "Remembering August," but when the winner receives the book, she will love it as much as I did.  Here is what the "Mystery Gift" looked like when I posted it.

The rules are simple:  I post a picture on the Triple C Ranch Saga facebook page of the gift to be given away, and all fans gotta do is click "Like" under that photo.  It's that simple.  I draw a number from 1 to however many likes there are in a 4-hour period from random.org, and whatever number "Like" that corresponds with on my list (because all are listed differently), that's who WINS.  I ship the books the following week via Media Mail, and the books will reach the winners within 2 to 4 weeks.

Colleen stopped short, surprised at Joan's volume level, which was far too high for a funeral home. Her face flashed suddenly. "Don't get me started, Mother," she hissed. "Especially on a day like today."

"If you get an infection, don't come runnin' to me," said Joan, unaware of her own pun.

Write On!

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, it's THAT TIME AGAIN!  Time to dust off the brain and get back to writing!  The Holidays are over, and I have TWO books to write.  One is the second in the "Triple C Ranch Saga" series, and the other is a completely NEW project.

In the new project, my main character is a MALE for once.

I tend to write strong females as my leads, but this time I decided to try something different.  The story has about 10,000 words written, and will end up at about 80,000 or so, unless I miss my guess.  This NEW project is the one that I hope will attract the right Agent, and I will go from there.

I ALSO hope to drop in every day or two and post a little something about how the writing is going.  I MAY even drop in an excerpt or two, as I am prone to do.
