I did my best to appear nonchalant as the bellman used my key to open the door of the executive suite. As he flipped the switch in the dark entry, I scanned the luxurious suite. Beyond the light illuminating the foyer, the furnishings appeared modern and sleek, while the walls were covered in heavy drapery keeping the late afternoon sunlight at bay.
"Ma'am, I apologize," the bellman said as he hurried across the living room. "Your suite has a spectacular view. Let me open—"
His feet and words stopped. My heart leapt to my throat. Stepping from a darkened doorway was a man who immediately dominated the executive suite.
"Sir, I didn't know that anyone..."
I no longer heard the man in the Mandarin uniform. Nox was all I saw. His silence filled the air muting anything else. His pale eyes narrowed capturing mine. Without words his icy gaze bore through me, planting my feet and sealing my lips. Displeasure radiated from his every pore. Rage rippled from his chiseled jaw as the muscles in his face and neck flexed. My knees grew weak as I realized this wasn't the man I remembered, but rather the man whose voice I'd heard on my call.
Only minutes earlier there had been so many things I'd planned to say and questions that consumed me. Yet, now, with Nox before me, none of them surfaced or made their presence known; instead the suite warmed as my heartbeat raced. I gripped tighter to my purse. With the winds of his displeasure swirling about the suite, I needed an anchor, something to ground me.

From Chapter Two
NOX
I turned a small circle, taking in the apartment. I'd lived here for years and it'd been fine. I was comfortable and content. Now, without Charli, it seemed empty and too quiet. She'd been gone for less than an hour and I missed her...well, everything about her. I walked back to the bedroom to gather a few clothes.
Her damn vibrator was still on the bed. It was bad enough that someone had been in our apartment. I couldn't leave it there for Deloris or her team to dust. I lifted the purple silicone covered shaft. It was curved and smooth. My thoughts went to the delicious ways I could use it on Charli. I imagined her moans and screams as I pushed the buttons. There was a music option that would allow the device to respond to my voice. She should be in my bed—in our bed—and with words and this stupid toy should be taking her to new heights.
The room came into focus, but I wasn't seeing what was really there.
Charli's delicate hands were bound with an intricate winding of satin and secured above her head piled high with her beautiful hair as stray curls surrounded her face, the auburn wisps contrasting her flushed complexion. My chest heaved as her sexy body was displayed—each curve, each angle—for my optimum viewing pleasure. In my imagination she was nude, except for the black shoes she'd worn to Mobar, the same shoes that had adorned the dashboard of the Boxster. Her ankles were untethered, bound only by my instructions. Her legs were spread, slightly bent, with her knees out and the heels of her sexy shoes threatening to penetrate the soft Egyptian threaded sheets. As the humming vibrations rippled through the air, her body trembled in anticipation, and she stifled a whimper.
I loved the way she squirmed as she fought between maintaining the position I demanded and her body's natural reactions.
My lips quirked as I added a satin blindfold to my fantasy. It was something we'd never done, but then again, we'd never played with her vibrator either. Without sight, her senses would be heightened. The quiet hum would be louder, a roar in the otherwise silence of our room. My words would be amplified, sending shockwaves from her ears to her core that clenched with unmet need.
I'd tease her unmercifully giving her small tastes of what was to come...

NOX
I turned a small circle, taking in the apartment. I'd lived here for years and it'd been fine. I was comfortable and content. Now, without Charli, it seemed empty and too quiet. She'd been gone for less than an hour and I missed her...well, everything about her. I walked back to the bedroom to gather a few clothes.
Her damn vibrator was still on the bed. It was bad enough that someone had been in our apartment. I couldn't leave it there for Deloris or her team to dust. I lifted the purple silicone covered shaft. It was curved and smooth. My thoughts went to the delicious ways I could use it on Charli. I imagined her moans and screams as I pushed the buttons. There was a music option that would allow the device to respond to my voice. She should be in my bed—in our bed—and with words and this stupid toy should be taking her to new heights.
The room came into focus, but I wasn't seeing what was really there.
Charli's delicate hands were bound with an intricate winding of satin and secured above her head piled high with her beautiful hair as stray curls surrounded her face, the auburn wisps contrasting her flushed complexion. My chest heaved as her sexy body was displayed—each curve, each angle—for my optimum viewing pleasure. In my imagination she was nude, except for the black shoes she'd worn to Mobar, the same shoes that had adorned the dashboard of the Boxster. Her ankles were untethered, bound only by my instructions. Her legs were spread, slightly bent, with her knees out and the heels of her sexy shoes threatening to penetrate the soft Egyptian threaded sheets. As the humming vibrations rippled through the air, her body trembled in anticipation, and she stifled a whimper.
I loved the way she squirmed as she fought between maintaining the position I demanded and her body's natural reactions.
My lips quirked as I added a satin blindfold to my fantasy. It was something we'd never done, but then again, we'd never played with her vibrator either. Without sight, her senses would be heightened. The quiet hum would be louder, a roar in the otherwise silence of our room. My words would be amplified, sending shockwaves from her ears to her core that clenched with unmet need.
I'd tease her unmercifully giving her small tastes of what was to come...
"Lennox, I have my team on their way."
Deloris's voice from the living room pulled me from my fantasy as reality fell hard upon my shoulders.

First, may I explain what this is?
Kindle Worlds is an imprint of Amazon Publishing. This is NOT self or indie publishing. Kindle Worlds owns the rights to these stories and controls their placement (Amazon exclusive), distribution (currently US only), and price (based on word count).
This is also not new. The imprint and platform of Kindle Worlds has been around for awhile. They hold the "fanfic" licensing rights to many of your well known book series as well as TV shows and movies.
During the early summer of 2016 I was approached by Kindle Worlds to sell them the right to open a "world" based on my INFIDELITY SERIES. We came to terms (for example the outcome of my series and characters may not be altered) and signed our agreement. We decided it would be best to LAUNCH this world following the completion of my five book series.

I then asked authors who I knew and knew had read my Infidelity series to participate.
I am honored that New York Times bestseller Pam Godwin, and TC Winters, Lulu Astor, Ted Persinger, Rae Riley, Donya Lynn, Jillian Jacobs, D.D. Lorenzo, and AD Ellis all agreed.
Each amazing author then wrote stand-alone stories that are in some way connected to MY series.
Their books are not a series on their own and are not interconnected. The connection of their stories is ME...MY INFIDELITY series. Infidelity World stories are all standalones, and with the exception of Sacrifice by Rae Riley, can all be read without reading my series. Just remember, they are independent of one another. For that reason there is no recommended reading order. Check out their blurbs and have fun! These range from historical fiction, to mystery, to dark romance.
On a personal note:
I LOVED my Infidelity series. I spent 13 months writing 5 full-length books. (1600+ pages, 180+ Chapters all released at a taxing and exhausting rate of 4 months apart) For over a year, I lived and breathed Charli, Nox, Adelaide, and Oren. They were in my sleeping and waking thoughts.
Finishing Fidelity, the last book of the series, was emotionally draining.
I mourned.
I worried how it would do...and because you are the most amazing readers in the world, it skyrocketed. New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestseller. (Yay!!)
That amazing accomplishment didn't take away from the reality that I missed my make-believe friends and enemies.
Infidelity World has brought them back. In many of these stories, my characters only make a cameo (the dark mysterious handsome man in Devoted) or are referenced (the scared red-head with a little of a southern accent) but nevertheless, they are once again ALIVE!
I read each of the NINE Infidelity World books with tears of appreciation. In each unique story the world I created and loved is revived. The fun part of this is that now my world is open, more and more books can be written, by more and more authors and readers...the platform, KINDLE WORLDS, is there for YOU...to read and enjoy and to write.
Now, with that preface, I am excited to announce the LAUNCH of INFIDELITY WORLD and introduce you to the first NINE stories. I hope you, too, will enjoy reentering my world.
