"OK"....a lost poem.
Found this poem that I had written during my divorce a few years ago, and while I don't really identify with most of these emotions anymore (seriously, it was like two years ago, lol) I didn't really have anything else to post tonight so I'm putting it up for everyone to read.
I think everyone at some point experiences loss, so perhaps everyone will be able to find something in it that touches

Writing with the aid of Artificial Intelligence.
I've never written with a partner. I've collaborated with people on creative projects, but never sat down and written a large format story with the assistance of another person.
With the advent of online application sharing, the technical obstacles have now largely been lifted from doing so, but I write at weird times, have weird ideas, and...well, I'm just plain weird. Part of my weirdness is

NaNoWriMo Plan of Attack
National Novel Writing Month..........
Yes, I am a NaNoWriMo virgin. I've written 7500 words in one night, so 50k over the course of a month shouldn't be a big deal, right?
Wrong. If they were meaningless words, it wouldn't be a big deal at all, but I have a very ambitious novel that I think the world needs to read, and am going to use NaNoWriMo as an Ares rocket to strap my premise to and fire

Book Review-Second Death by Emily Reese
Read a Young Adult Vampire Novel recently?
Read five?
While it's an unavoidable truth that since Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" series reached shelves the Young Adult Vampire genre has exploded, there are still fresh stories to be had there. "Second Death", by Emily Reese, is just such a story.
Second Death eschews the common romantic trappings within the first five pages-This is a Vampire novel

A bit of an Appetizer....
I've been working on an audiobook version of Judgment Cove for a few days now, and wanted to share with you Part 1 of it to give you a taste of what to expect, as well as give those of you on the fence about checking out the ebook version further incentive to do so. I've created a 15 minute video and embedded it below.
The audio isn't quite finished, but it's very close, and certainly listenable

A few words regarding Goals.....
I like to joke about becoming rich and famous, but that's not a goal of mine.
Financial security? Absolutely. But I don't feel a need to earn so much money that the only joy in my life becomes watching the steadily ascending tally in my bank account. Besides, I suck at money management, I would probably just blow half of it on other people, buying family and friends new cars and paying off their

Forums! Changes to Comments, Oh My!
In my ever growing effort to connect with the mostly silent visitors to my site, I have decided to continue the evolution of my site and have made two major changes to make it easier to submit your opinions on this site, and to try to cultivate a sense of community here.
This site, despite the obvious branding, is not just about me marketing my writing. Sure, that is here, but I also share alot

Would any of my writing friends like a little free publicity?
Sorry it's been so long between posts, I've been working on a non-writing project that has been fairly all-consuming.
With it nearing completion, I am starting to turn my focus back to pre://d.o.mai.n, but my little hiatus has really reinvigorated my need to get this book finished.
Inspiration is something that I write about often here, and the reason for that is that it is a huge part of why I

The revolution will not be televised....(but it will be blogged)
I generally try to avoid political statements on this blog. But in support of a movement I agree with, and in support of fellow Mainers at the "OCCUPY MAINE" event, I have decided to overlook this choice for one day.
The movement is asking for accountability from the Government and Big Business, namely Wall Street. You know that by another political buzzword-TRANSPARENCY. It's often

Google+ "Four Corners of your World" redesign Concept.
Here is the video that I've been working on, the first two times I thought I needed to render it in raw .avi format, which made a 2:30 second part of the clip take up over 30 Gigabytes of storage (that's an obscene amount for 2:30, if you don't know). I'm pretty happy with how it came out, please let me know what you think?
Oh Yeah-Please expand it and watch it full screen, I spent three days
