The Way of Wands & Wilds is Out Now!
I’m thrilled to bring you some summer magic for your reading enjoyment! I just released The Way of Wands & Wilds, the cozy, witchy first book in the Thornvale Witches trilogy – a heartwarming paranormal romance full of midlife mayhem, magical sisterhood, and second chances that don’t always go according to plan.

MIDNIGHT MERCY
A snowstorm in tiny Crescent Bay, California. But the show must go on.
When I volunteered to help with a production of Swan Lake at the historic Crown Theatre, I was looking for distraction. It’s better than thinking deeply about what I want to do next with the strange fortune I inherited, and this big, empty house.
The night before the show opens, my cousins arrive despite the snow, filling Covett House with life. And questions. Some of which are as simple as ‘Do you have a bathroom?’ Others are more alarming, like ‘Did you know your cat sees ghosts?’
Was the weather a warning?
Because early on opening day, I discover Gwen Canfield, the lead dancer in Swan Lake, out cold in the center of the stage. An arcane symbol marks her forehead. We can’t wake her up.
When I find the same symbol on a painting at home, I can’t deny the connection. In another mystifying tie, Gwen used to date my cousin, Joel, and they’d been reconnecting, over the loud disagreements of her over-protective mother.
What else are the Canfields tied up in? And how can I protect our family’s secrets, when it seems I don’t even know all of them?
It’s hard to believe Covett House has more mysteries to unlock. But my cousin Darcie turns out to have skills to rival any of the ancestors that came before us.
Now if I can keep her from learning too much…

Another school year is coming to an end around here, and it’s bittersweet as my eldest moves on to high school. Both of my kids are ending the school year with solid friendships and very excited for next year, so that is really fun to see.
I’m offering the first Water Rites novel on the Free Fantasy and Sci-Fi June page, so if you didn’t get that book in the years it was free prior to February, go ahead and grab it now, it’s only free there and just for the month.

Of the Blood Fantasy Romance Series Sale!
I’ve been brainstorming for a new fantasy romance series, and it brought back how much I loved my first fae fantasy romance series, Of the Blood. Since I was in a lovey-dovey mood with it, I went ahead and dropped the second novel, The Risen Goddess, to free through May 15. Yes, that means two out of five Of the Blood novels are currently free. Run on out and scoop up that deal wherever you buy or download books; they’re both free all over the place.
It’s been a great push! More than 3,000 copies have already been downloaded in the last couple of weeks! All that action is leading to more visibility for this series. If you’ve grabbed a copy, I truly appreciate it!!
