Coveted Excerpt

“Gwen,” Dorian said from my bedroom door. Looking over my shoulder I spared him a look. “Don’t you think we should talk about what happened in Massachusetts?”
“No.”
I closed my eyes and prayed he’d drop it. No such luck. The floor creaked as Dorian stepped further into my room. I could feel his body just behind me. He’d taken me to a bed and breakfast in Massachusetts a few days ago. I thought we were there to extract a spirit but I’d found out that said spirit was Dorian’s sidekick. During our stay I’d given into the attraction and made out with the Angel of Death. I stopped myself before it went further. I still wasn't sure if I gave into him because I wanted him or I just wanted to give my brain a break from Aiden.
Cool fingers brushed against my neck, sweeping my hair to the side to expose my throat. I kept my back to Dorian, afraid if I turned around I wouldn’t be able to resist kissing him again.
“We have to talk about it.” Dorian spoke against my skin, his breath caressing and awakening something I was trying very hard to ignore.
“Please just drop it,” I whispered. He pressed his lips to the crook of my neck. My eyes rolled back as I absorbed the feel of his kiss. There was something about this man that took ahold of me and wouldn’t let go. Try as I might I couldn’t deny my attraction.
Turning around, I placed a hand on his chest. His lips were spaced as he peered over me, his body tense and his muscles tight. He was like a predator and had I been in the right frame of mind, I would have let him take me to bed and consume me.

Make your release day easier!

We all know how stressful it can be to release a book. It seems like there is always a million things to do to get ready and not enough time. I was ecstatic when my good friend, Jessi Gibson told me she was starting a business where she'd take care of all the release day event games.
On Facebook a lot of authors will create an event to let everyone know their book is finally available. While events are a blast and a great way to interact with readers, they're tiring. Jessi took care of everything! I was able to sit back and interact without worrying about anything. She's seriously fabulous!
From Release Day DivaYou've written a book, where do you go from there? How do you make your release day a success? That's where I come in. Let me create a personalized event just for you and your book. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the day you have worked so hard for.

Things to come...

I decided to humor them. I opened up my Word program and began to write their story. Little did I know the joke would be on me because I was hooked by the second paragraph. I could almost see Anna and Adam smiling smugly at me and saying, "I told you so."
It's only been two days but I'm already getting asked if Anna will have a second book, and if so when will it be released. I'm happy to say that, yes Anna will have a second book. As for a release date, I'm not sure. Below I've written my planned schedule. These dates can change, life never goes according to plan. But it'll be very close. I'm so happy you guys have enjoyed my books. I tell a lot of you that, but if you could hear my voice or see my face when I told you then you'd realize just how happy it makes me. Who doesn't like to hear their doing a good job, right? So, I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who's taken the time to email me or leave a comment on my Facebook page. It may be a little gesture to you, but it's ginormous to me.
Schedule Once Upon a Midnight Dreary - An anthology..........................................October 2012 Coveted - Book 3 in the Gwen Sparks Series.............................................October 2012 Anna Avery 2nd book (Title to be announced).........................................February 2013
I plan to alternate my releases. That means that since I just released a Anna book, my next will be a Gwen book and so on. I think this will be a great balance between the two series and hopefully keep everyone happy. = )
Taming the Wolf is available on Amazon and should be available on Barnes & Noble very soon. I've had a bit of trouble with them uploading the wrong version of the book. I'm praying that when it goes on sale they have corrected this mistake. Also, it would mean a lot to me if you guys would take the time to leave honest feedback after reading one of my books. It really helps us Indie authors out!

Echo of an Earth Angel Released!

About the Book
18 year old Tessa Copeland barely survived the worst year of her life—in fact, it was a miracle. After making it through the tragedy that killed both of her parents, she’s left to pick up the pieces of her life. Combating the holes in her memory and the concern of her friends was hard enough, but a new talent threatens to destroy everything she’s trying to reclaim.
David Allegri didn’t mean to ruin Tessa’s life. She was the brightest soul he’d seen in centuries and he couldn’t let her die, so the fallen angel used his abilities to heal her—only he took it too far and changed Tessa forever. Now, he has to figure out a way to explain what’s happening to Tessa and somehow protect both of them from the consequences.
His choice made them targets for the Hunters, who will use any means necessary to capture their prey. Only a desperate plan can help them escape, and sacrifices will be made. Time is ticking. Will they make it, or will they be lost to the echoes of fate?
Price: $2.99 for ebook
$11.99 for Paperbacks. (Autographed copies available at www.sarahmross.com)

I started my obsession with reading at an early age, getting in trouble for sneaking BabySitter Club and Nancy Drew books into math class in elementary school. I would read any fiction book I could get my hands on. I knew it was an addiction when instead of grounding me from TV or music, my mom would take away my books as punishment (The Horror!). My love of all things paranormal was inspired by my good friend Laurie, who convinced me that books with vampires, witches, and all things shifter were amazing. After a little reluctance, I gave it a shot with the Sookie Stackhouse books, realized she was right, and the rest was history.
I grew up in Pittsburgh, graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with my degree in English, and taught 8th graders to love reading as much as I do for several years. I will always be a proud member of the Steelers Nation, but I couldn't take the cold and moved my frozen tush to Florida where I now live with my family and two cats. You will find me now with my trusty Kindle in hand and toes in the sand!
When I'm not writing or reading, I am probably partaking in my favorite vice: sunbathing. I know it's wrong, but I love the feeling on the hot sun on my skin and could lay in it for hours. I do live in Florida for a reason!

Teaser Time!!

Opening the bathroom door, I came face to face with the man in question. Adam was leaning against the wall, a glass of water in his hand. As I watched him I noticed how pale his face was and how bloodshot his eyes were.
“When was the last time you slept?”
“I don’t know, he said with genuine confusion. I took the glass from him, clasping his hand and led him to my bedroom.
“I know you are planning something,” I told him, straightening the blankets. He scowled at me, realizing that I’d heard at least part of his conversation. “And it’s not going to work if our pack has a sleep deprived alpha leading them.” I smiled to myself, finding it funny that Adam and I had reversed roles and it was now him who was being persuaded to rest.
“You need to sleep,” I told him, nodding towards the bed.
“I’ll sleep,” Adam said, dragging his T-shirt over his head. My eyes instantly soaked up the beauty of his chest and abs. “but lay with me. You still need to rest too.”
I flicked a glance to the door, too anxious to find out information on Adam’s secret plan to sleep.
“Nothing out there concerns you, Anna,” Adam said, catching onto my idea. He shuffled into bed, inching over so that there was room for me. Propping himself up on his elbow, he stabbed the mattress with his finger, his I-mean-business stare pinning me in my place.
“Get. Into. Bed.”
I spared one more look at the door, deciding that if I disobeyed him he’d be out of that bed and hauling my ass back before I made it down the hallway.

Mark of the Witch by Jessica Gibson

Blurb: Magic flows through Jillian Proctor's veins as surely as blood, but so far her life outside Boston has been peaceful. William Morgan blows into Jilly's life like a hurricane, unleashing her magic and sending her out of control. Unknowingly, William brings an enemy who only wants to posses the power of the witch. Jilly must learn to harness her magic before she loses it - and everything in her life is destroyed.

Jessica was kind enough to share an excerpts with me, which I will now share with you guys!
Oh, and Jilly, you really shouldn’t be in the habit of meeting strange people at night. I could have been a strangler for all you knew,” he said with a hint of reproach in his voice.
“Oh, I wouldn’t worry too much about me, William; it’s the strangler who should be worried,” Jilly said with a viscous gleam in her eyes while she vigorously rubbed her palms together until they glowed brightly in the moonlight. “Care to shake my hand, Mr. Strangler?” she asked with a laugh as she stuck her hand out to him.
“Ok, I’m game, let’s see what you’ve got up your sleeve,” he said as he grabbed her hand. Almost instantly he was on the ground, writhing in pain. “Well, I will say that tonight I’m glad that I cannot die; that sure packs a punch. I think I could feel my heart stop for a second,” he said, a little winded, as he propped himself up into a sitting position and rubbed his hand.
“Yeah, I figured I’d give you a real show tonight,” she said as she walked away.
He watched her go, still sitting on the ground, and said, “Until tomorrow then,” almost under his breath.

First and foremost, I'm a wife to an amazing man, and mother to a 2 year old little boy. I love to read when I can find the time, my Kindle is my best friend. I've read tons and tons of books. One of my favorite authors is Diana Gabaldon, her Outlander series is absolutely amazing. I also really enjoy Charlaine Harris' True Blood series. I'll read anything supernatural, I've blown through most of the good YA series' that are out there. I think my love ofreading really helped me branch out into writing.
