A freelance editor and former librarian, Nancy writes mysteries and fantasy for adults and kids.

Her first publication, “The Secret of the Red Mullet,” was selected for the anthology FISH TALES (Wildside Press, 2011), and tells the story of a young sister and brother in ancient Rome who follow the trail of a mysterious amulet spit up by their cat. Another short story, “The Black Cat,” won the 2014 award for best Halloween story submitted to Kings River Life Magazine, and can be read online via the link on her website. Her novel CHIMERA, a contemporary fantasy set in Paris, was a finalist for the 2013 Daphne Du Maurier award in the category of unpublished mainstream.
