Meet the #Author Monday - Belinda McBride #fantasy #romance #mm

Please tell us a bit about yourself:
Hi Pippa, thanks for having me here today! Well, about me…I live in Northern California…real Nor Cal, closer to the Oregon Border than to San Francisco. I have two adult daughters, a houseful of Siberian Huskies and Salukis, and when I left my job to stay home with a disabled family member, I was gifted with a writing career. J I write mostly in speculative fiction though I do occasionally dabble in contemporary. I write romance, both het and LGBTQ.

Turning a Love Triangle into a Quadrangle - Natalie Wright #YA #scifi #romance #giveaway

When I began planning the H.A.L.F. (Human Alien Life Form) series back in 2010, I created a female protagonist, Erika Holt, and two guys (H.A.L.F. 9, aka “Tex” and Jack Wilson). I assumed throughout the process of writing The Deep Beneath (H.A.L.F. #1) that I’d have a love triangle going throughout the three-book series.
But oh, how characters can foil plans! I had no idea that The Deep Beneath would end the way that it did. It’s pretty hard to write a triangle when one of the people in the tr...

Tuesday Teaser - Hidden In Ashes (A'yen's Legacy 5) by Rachel Leigh Smith #futuristic #romance

Lorin set his empty flute on a passing server’s tray, once more scanning the room for Sunny’s distinctive red hair. This time he found her, across the room talking to Addie. Every sound, every scent, every other person in the room, faded from his mind. Her curls were piled atop her head. Instead of the formal tiara, she wore a three strand headband of emeralds in every shade possible. Her dress was teal, with a subtle sparkle. Sprinkled across the bodice and shoulders were teardrop crystals in...

Twenty Three Years and Counting

Today is my 23rd wedding anniversary. I have now been married for more than half my lifetime.
It's a weird way of looking at it. But I do feel like I've led two very separate lives. My childhood came to an abrupt end around the time I first met my husband as my parents were getting divorced, my dad did a bunk to Australia to avoid legal proceedings, my mum developed cancer, my future step dad died from a stroke following a car crash, and my mum followed suit shortly after. All in the space of...

Happy Fourth Anniversary #amwriting #amcelebrating

Today is my 4th anniversary as a published author. Woot! It feels much longer, and yet I still feel like I've barely started. I have fifteen titles up at Goodreads, from short stories up to novels and an anthology, romantic and non-romance, scifi, urban fantasy and paranormal, for adults and young adults. I never imagined I'd get so far.

It also means my adorable blue hero Keir - my sanity saver - is also four today. Kinda. While Keir was originally published on the 7th of May 2012 by Lyrical...

The #SFRBShowcase - The Romance of Metraxi #timetravel #scifi #romance

Hello! Welcome to another Science Fiction Romance Brigade Showcase. On Saturday I celebrate my fourth anniversary as a published author, so I thought I'd share something about my debut novel for its fourth book birthday. This is an interview with the hero Keir that I wrote a few years ago for a blog hop on what it means to be romantic...

"Romantic?" Keir shakes his head and hands me a glass of red wine. "No. I would not say that I am romantic."

I take a sip and watch him from over the rim of th...
