Please tell us a bit about yourself: I write paranormal romance and cozy mystery. These are my favorite genres because I’m a folklore and mythology fanatic and I love ghosts stories and quirky towns. The books in my first series, Banshee Creek, are romantic comedies set in America’s Most...

Read Only Wednesday - MechMan by LJ Garland #scifi #romance #android

Normally if a book isn't eagerly anticipated or a must read author of mine, covers are the number one way to catch my attention. I happily admit to buying books based purely on the cover (though the blurb generally has to hook me as a secondary feature).
But not this week's impulse buy. I don't much like the cover but got hooked by the blurb after someone shared it to Facebook. I have a soft spot for cyborgs and androids (when they don't immediately come across as alpha males. I prefer beta ma...

Blog Tour: The Departed by Kristy Cooper #YA #dystopia #giveaway via @kristycooperYA

Where I got the idea for The Departed.

A lot of people have asked me where I got the idea for a book about a fake rapture. I even had a friend in high school tell me there was no point in recycling, because she was expecting to be brought up to heaven very soon so there was no need to...
