Surrounded by Pleasure Scheduled for Release!

The second book in the Woods family series, Surrounded by Pleasure, has been scheduled for release on October 7, 2011, which makes two releases for me in October–Digital Possession has been scheduled for an October release for months now, so I can't wait for it be released, too. Surrounded by Pleasure is the follow up to Surrounded by Woods, so if you haven't read it yet, please do! I've been told that it could take 4 – 6 weeks before it's available wherever ebooks are sold (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.), but I've noticed some only taking a week from the initial release date. I'll keeep you posted and let you know when it's available other places after it releases.

The release date is nearing, so I've been playing around creating a book trailer. This one is short, so I'll probably make a longer one later this week now that I got the hang of it.

Digital Possession Cover Art!

I've been given the okay to post the cover art for my contemporary erotic novella, Digital Possession! Ain't it awesome! I've also attached a blurb on the book. Yea!

Cassie Tucker has worked her way up at the same software design firm's south regional office since she graduated college. She enjoys the respect and responsibility that comes with her leadership role within the company but is unable to hide her giddiness at being assigned to work with the hottest guy at the firm. Unfortunately, he works at the west coast office, so all their communication must be done through electronic means.

Ian Cope has wanted to work with Cassie Tucker for two years, so when the opportunity presents itself, he is thrilled. Only he should have been careful with what he wished for. Kindle Allows Non-Amazon Books

Okay, I may be the last person on the face of the earth to know this, but I found this pretty cool. I own a Kindle but got a gift certificate for BAM or B&N (don't remember which one), so I purchased some ebooks through them last year. Well, I was under the impression that I couldn't read them on my Kindle (and in some situations this is still true). Of course, there are probably other work around options (going through an online file converter to manually format your books (i.e. Calibre), and in some cases, that may still be your best option). BUT what I found out today and tested successfully was that all you have to do is email your book to your Kindle account and Amazon/Kindle converts it for you! Now, I had to email my book from my Amazon verified email address (you know, the one where confirmations of your orders are sent from Amazon). Your Kindle email account can be found by going to Manage my Kindle within your Amazon account (FYI, mine was the same as my verified email address, but with the extension @kindle.com instead of @yahoo.com). Here's some info from Amazon about this nifty little thing:

The Kindle Personal Document Service can convert and deliver the following types of documents:

Microsoft Word (.doc)

Rich Text Format (.rtf)

HTML (.htm, .html)

Text (.txt) documents

Archived documents (zip , x-zip) and compressed archived documents

Mobi book

Images that are of type JPEGs (.jpg), GIFs (.gif), Bitmaps (.bmp), and PNG images (.png).

Adobe PDF (.pdf) documents are delivered without conversion to Kindle DX, Second Generation and Latest Generation Kindles.

The following document types are converted and delivered on an experimental basis:

Microsoft Word 11 (.docx)

Adobe PDF (.pdf) for First Generation Kindles

If the document that failed belonged to one of the above document types, please ensure the document is not password protected or encrypted. Note that the Latest Generation Kindles support password protected PDFs.

Helpful tips for personal document attachments:

The file size of each attached personal document should be less than 50MB (before compression in a ZIP file)
The email submitted should not contain more than 25 attached personal documents
