I always said I wanted to stay at home with my children and work as a writer later in life. Sunday Surprise for me! <3

Happy Sunday to you all!

I received some wonderful news I wanted to share! Remember the stand alone Contemporary /IR I mentioned previously? Well … Lessons from the Professor is now due to release sometime in July via Evernight Publishing! I just signed the ink on the dotted line today and I am overjoyed!!

This was a step outside of my comfort zone from the 18 year age difference to the BDSM elements. ( my mum and dad had a large age gap like this so I’m a true believer that it can work) Can you say spanking? I always like to push my self in some way with each new story, and this particular one was inspired by Alan Rickman. Who for some reason screams Dom to me, maybe it’s the voice? So I got to researching and let the main characters tell me how they wanted to be portrayed.

Sleepless Saturday…Er Sunday.. sneak peak of wip

Hey all,

Here I am up late again burning up the keys. The muse has been very kind lately and I am much obliged. I was on pinterest ( I know its horribly addicting ) just now, and thought you might like to see the man who’s the current inspiration for my latest lead Oliver Young. ( Doesn’t that name just sound yummy? )

This gorgeous man’s real name is Toby Hemingway. I bet a lot of you know him from The Covenant, or perhaps his most recent Black Swan. The hidden gem he played in was called Feast of Love. It often sparks my romance meter when I’m running low. If you haven’t seen it I highly suggest giving it a go.

I am very excited about my current WIP. It’s a supernatural romance with a bit of a horror vibe. This was not what I had planned in my original outline, but one of my characters went rogue. :Raises hands in defense: I’m not complaining with the words flowing the way they are, but I am amused with the journey I now found myself on . I think this is one of the more intense tales I’ve penned and I’d like to share a snippet with you

Oliver clenched the steering wheel of his car tight as he sat on the side of the dirt path. This was the closest he’d come to her grave since they lowered her casket into the ground two years prior. He called himself a million different names; coward, asshole, bastard, murder. But none had given him the final push he needed to stand in front of the marble slab that marked Hannah’s final resting place. He didn’t’ like to think of her down there in the cold ground. Her skin rotting away as her flesh disintegrated to leave behind bone and her features became unrecognizable.

Hey Guys! I know it’s been super quiet here so I wanted to pop my head in before the drawing for the big giveaway. I’ve been a busy bee, getting all of my work done before I take my maternity leave. Some of you may or may not know that in addition to being a writer, I’m an editor and I work elsewhere in the publishing industry. It makes for a crazed schedule at times, but I wouldn’t’ trade it for anything.

I’ve had a lot of you ask me about my next piece, well here’s the inside scoop. I’m happy to announce, the rough draft for what will be a standalone I/R featuring some BDSM play is complete. I’m currently in the process of tweaking it for submission, so keep those fingers crossed for me

Also for my fans of The Wanting, please don’t think I’ve been ignoring you or the series. My D’Shar men are being very stubborn at the moment and we’re duking it out over who will be next, and how the story will play out. I think we’ve almost come to an agreement that’ll get the words flowing on the page once more.

I know my free reads have been lagging, but I’ve yet to get in any requests so honor. Remember, if you have a character, universe, story you’d like to know about. Just ask and I’ll write you up a pretty piece all your own and post it in the free .
