One psychopath had managed to render New York’s finest and a host of private detectives impotent. “I don’t understand. How can this monster make my life a living hell day after day and not get caught? I could suggest what I’m sure all the others have— change your routines, move to another part of the city, or hire security…” “I’ve done all that already, and he’s still around.” “The last, most severe response is to skip town and start fresh somewhere else. Keep a low profile in some invisible job where nobody knows who you really are.” “Do you realize what you’re asking me to do? I own a thriving book store. I have family and friends. I can’t just give it all up. Then he wins.” “Isn’t he winning now?” She raised a brow and turned away, preferring to straighten the various piles of paper on his desk and align each container to another rather than face the truth.

MY REVIEW


I love a good romance. I love a good cowboy story too. Mix in a little paranormal witch with a coven of sassy friends and this book by M.R. Polish gave me the best of all of those worlds.
I enjoyed it so much I gave up sleep to finish it. I don't do that for just anything lol.
It's a wonderful, sweet and clean romance that I would recommend to everyone.
It's different from other books I've read by M.R. ... No cliffhanger!!! HAHA ... BUT of coarse M.R. being the awesome writer that she is has left me wanting more! It's great to see that there's plenty more witches with their own magical tale to tell. Can I just say "YAY!!!"
SO, do yourself a literary favor and pick this one up and ENJOY. Let the talented author know what you thought. As always, Happy Reading!

About the Author

M.R. Polish was born in Idaho, a long, long, long, maybe not that long time ago.... Writing has always been there for her. Growing up, her mind was filled with stories, some she shared and others she filed away to write down later in life. It wasn't until 2011 that she decided to publish her stories for everyone to enjoy. Her first award and when writing became more than just an idea was in the 5th grade. She won the scary story contest for the school newspaper. It is one story she still has tucked away for memories. Her teacher told her she could be anything she wanted and that she had a talant for writing, being creative and drawing people into her stories. M.R. took that to heart and continued to write, although mostly in secret until recent years. Now you can find her enjoying life with her family - wrangling her four kids, setting traps in the house with toys for unsuspecting victims (aka, her husband) and writing down all her crazy and fun stories.

My Review of Through The Looking Glass by Gena Showalter

My Review 5 Stars
There is only one problem with this series... it keeps me from doing my work and up all night reading. I love it! Aly is growing and changing right in front of my eyes. Gena knows how to paint a picture so vivid that a movie plays in my mind as I turn the pages. I love a great zombie story and this one has an amazing twist. Great books! Definitely recommend this series.

I have been a writer from the time I was old enough to recognize that reading was a doorway into my imagination. Poetry was my first foray into the art of the written word. Books were my best friends, my escape, my haven. I am essentially a recluse but this part of my personality is impossible to practice given I have two teenage daughters, who are actually my friends, my tea-makers, my confidantes... I am blessed with a husband who has left me for golf. It's a fair trade as I have left him for writing. We are both passionate supporters of each others loves - it works wonderfully...
My heart is currently broken in two. One half resides in South Africa where my old roots still remain, and my heart still longs for the endless beaches and the smell of moist soil after a summer downpour. My love for Ma Afrika will never fade. The other half of me has been transplanted to the Land of the Long White Cloud. The land of the Taniwha, beautiful Maraes, and volcanoes. The land of green, pure beauty that truly inspires. And because I am so torn between these two lands - I shall forever remain cross-eyed.
