Introducing the Kelsie Butler Mysteries!

Meet Kelsie Butler. Coffee addict. Dog lover. Mystery buff.

A relative newcomer to the quaint town of Fairwood, Colorado, newly widowed Kelsie Butler is thrilled when she’s asked to write the script for a murder mystery game hosted at the local coffee house.

But when one of the contestants is murdered, and that murder bears a striking resemblance to the murder in Kelsie’s game, the police chief turns his sights on Kelsie and her friend Gwen, the owner of the coffee house.

With Stella the Aussie mix as her companion, Kelsie draws on her knowledge of murder mysteries—and her circle of mystery-loving friends—to crack the baffling case. Read more...

I didn't realize how much I missed Kate and the gang until I started writing this book. To celebrate the return of Kate and her friends, along with the bristly but brilliant Detective Rancourt, the preorder price is only 3.99. Book of Tales Is Here!

Readers of the Geraldine Woolkins Series will recognize the Book of Tales as the book Nigel Woolkins, an elder mouse, reads to his family at night. When the Woolkins family gathers by the fireplace at night, they read from this, the family’s most treasured book. Passed down from generation to generation, the book contains stories of danger, faith, and perseverance.

Juniper Grove Continues!

It’s been a while since my last Juniper Grove cozy mystery, but finally book 11, Still as Death, is available for preorder on Amazon. I’ve been asked if the Juniper Grove series will continue, and my answer is yes! As long as people want to read about Rachel, Julia, Gilroy, and their friends, I’ll continue to write the series. When I sit down at my desk to write a Juniper Grove book, I feel as if I’m visiting that small town at the base of the Colorado foothills. I love that feeling, and I hope my readers share it, that they feel as though they’re taking a vacation in that friendly (if dangerous!) place whenever the read one of the books. Book description: Rachel, Julia, and other members of Juniper Grove’s crafts fair committee are enjoying a fun evening at Read more...
