Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday, Darlings! How are you doing this week? Staying cool…or warm, as the case may be?

This week, I AM HAPPY that things are moving right along with the new house. I think I mentioned that there were some repairs needed on the place—of the “sooner rather than later” variety. Lots of research & lots of phone calls, but the radon mitigation...

in praise of realtors
I admit it: I’ve always kind of thought real estate agents had it easy. Show a house, sell a house, make some outrageouscommissiononthe sale price.
And now, I admit this: I was SO wrong! 
I don’t know about every real estate agent, but I can tell you for a fact that my realtor works her butt off! I cannot say enough about her patience, her understanding, her acceptance of a zillion e-mails with a zillion questions…all sent separately, because I can’t seem to group all my thoughts together at...

Drink of the Month
1 oz. vanilla or caramel vodka
1/2 oz. hazelnut liquor
1/2 oz. creme de cacao
1/2 oz. half-and-half
Drizzle caramel sauce into the bottom of a chilled martini glass.
Combine flavored vodka, hazelnut liquor, creme de cacao, and half-and-half in an ice-filled shaker.
Strain into glass.
Top with whipped cream and garnish of shaved chocolate and/or roasted peanuts, if desired.

As for Mistress Heidi & myself, we have had a busy—if exhausting 
—week…but a good one! 
This week,I AM HAPPY that my DVRs are working again. Yes, they’re old & obsolete; the original ones DishNetwork offered when they first began offering DVR technology. 
But I love them & have a ton of programming recorded on them that I don’t want...

This week’s Friday Funnies are some tips on How to Make Moving Easier…Or Not. 
As you know, I am ass-deep in the process of packing & moving. This has not been a particularly enjoyable task, especially since I’m doing in almost single-handedly.

So last week I shared the big news: I AM MOVING!
Whoo-hoo! 
I’m not sure when, exactly, & I sure as heck don’t know how, but it isdefinitelyin the works. The offer was made & accepted,negotiations have been worked out, & all the papers have been signed. It doesn’t get any more official than being handed the key to your brand new home!
