moving with cats
For the first time since this entire ordeal began, I have hope that moving The Kittehs into the new house may not be as traumatic as I feared. 
I’ve been packing & moving out boxes & bags & piles for weeks now, filling the jeep over & over again to take to the new house. I knew I was making progress, but there were moments when it didn’t feel like I was making even a dent.

RIP Wayne & Wes
In case you hadn’t heard, it’s been kind of a bad week of losing exceptionally influential people.
Dr. Wayne Dyer passed away August 29th, quite unexpectedly in his sleep.
I don’t know about you, but I loved this guy. He was so brilliant & inspirational. I have several of his books…have even read a few 
& am eager to read more. And I love to watch his presentations/speeches. PBS plays them once in a while & I always try to tune in. I’ve learned a lot from him, & am sad I won’t get the chance...

Drink of the Month
Can you even believe it’s September already? Eep! 
But since it is, how about this for an uber-appropriate Dungeon cocktail? 
3/4 ounce Elijah Craig Bourbon
3/4 ounce Pierre Ferrand Curaçao
3/4 ounce fresh juice from 1 lemon
3/4 ounce Lillet Blanc
mint sprig (optional)
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add bourbon, curacao, lemon juice, and Lillet Blanc.
Shake until well chilled, about 15 seconds.
Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with mint sprig.

Happy Sunday, everyone! How has the week been treating you?
I’ve had a pretty good week, I’m delighted to say. Much to be thankful for, even without wracking my brain too hard.
