So, I #amwriting again. Working on another story idea, and it's the end of the book again. This keeps happening and I've learned to embrace it. In a way it is cool because then I have to be like a detective and figure out how we got to that point. But it just shocks me because my first book was written start to end, perfectly linearly.

Thank you all for liking the page. Now if I can just convince Facebook to let me have my name back. Otherwise I'll need to come up with a good "username" for the page.

Sometimes the best we can do is live for the small victories. They are not as much fun as petit morts, of course, but we take what we can get.

I had a very good time Saturday at the Digital Publishing Workshop for Authors hosted by Evo Terra and Jeff Moriarty of ePublish Unum. Cool people + great information + wonderful location = happiness.

Last Saturday I attended the first (of what will surely be many) Digital Publishing Workshop for Authors hosted by Evo Terra and Jeff Moriarty of ePublish Unum. This is a relatively new venture for Evo and Jeff for helping authors embrace what it means to be a "digital author". The eight hour worksh...

I am looking forward to this workshop in Phoenix next Saturday. My goal is to compare the things I've done in the past to publish and promote and see what I can fine tune. Either for LILITH'S LOVE or for new projects coming up.

The podiobook is complete!

So at long last, the podcast audio adaptation of LILITH'S LOVE is complete! Is it perfect? No, of course not. I may go back and remaster some parts of it. I am always of the mind that a novel, and now any production based on one, is never finished.

I would like to thank Evo Terra for encouraging me to produce a podcast version, giving it a home on Podiobooks.com, as well as providing one of the many voices in the cast.

So what's next, besides an eventual remastered edition? Well, naturally there's the sequels. Yes, two. LILITH'S LIGHT and LILITH'S PEACE. Neither is complete. I dare say these projects alone will keep me busy for a while to come.

But that's not enough; I am also writing prequels. Prequels featuring characters that appear in the sequels but NOT in LILITH'S LOVE. Yes. I'm insane. Certifiable. And you wouldn't have me any other way.

In the meantime, if you enjoyed the podcast version and feel like donating, please do visit Podiobooks.com and leave the donation there. You'll be supporting them AND my part of the donation will go directly to the American Cancer Society.

Finally, most of you know, but let me reiterate for those that don't, Michelle and I host the Out Of The Coffin podcast all about vampires. Free time now means back to more regular episodes there. Huzzah!

1. LilithsLove 01 - Lilith's Love

-In this episode: Prologue and Chapter One -- The year is 1993. Donovan McElroy is a college student, living with his parents in Phoenix, AZ, until his 21st birthday when they are killed in a car accident. An only child, he inherits the house but doesn't want to live alone. His best friend, Christian Armstrong has just moved back to Phoenix from L.A., and Donovan offers him a place to stay while he gets a job and looks for a place of his own.

LILITH'S LOVE Episode #14 – August 17, 2010

This is the final episode of LILITH'S LOVE, featuring the Monologue and Epilogue from the novel.

Donovan updates his diary after everything he and his friends have survived.

My most heartfelt thanks to everyone who gave voice to characters in this production…

Karl Long as Christian Armstrong

Michelle Celley as Lilith Thompson

Dani Cutler as Anna Foster

Jack Mangan as Michael Barrett

Jack Hosley as Jake

CJ Feierabend as Mary Jane Hill

Dan Feierabend as The Master

Robert Gallagher as Malcolm

Chris Lester as Joe the Bartender

Paul Maki as Rob Stevens

J. Daniel Sawyer as the Border Guard

TD-0013 as the Patrolman

Evo Terra as George Shaeffer

Gilane Jones as New Age Girl

Jose Carradero as Lord Jonathan

Robin Hudson as Lady Katia

Nuchtchas as Waitress

Without the kind volunteering of time by those folks, this production would never have happened.

My appreciation and thanks go out to the members of The Narrow Way, who gave me permission so long ago to use their song "Deranged" in the novel and in this production. The opening theme music is from their song "Freedom of Movement". Though the band has scattered and moved on, their music lives on, I still love it, and am happy to be able to share some of it with you all here.

All other music loops and sound effects were provided courtesy of The Free Sound Project, which can be found at www.FreeSound.org.

Finally, thank you for listening and having the patience in too many cases to wait for each episode! I hope you have all enjoyed the podcast version of the novel. It has been a wonderful and often arduous experiment. In the end I'm glad I did it and I look forward to podcasting more fiction in the future, taking all lessons learned into account. If you would like to hear a podcast all about vampires featuring myself and my fiancée Michelle, the voice of Lilith, please stop by the Out Of The Coffin podcast at http://www.OutOfTheCoffin.com/.
