“Sloppy Porn…”
I think I’m going to change my “Explicit Adult Content” warning to a “Make Your Mama Blush, Get Your Freak On, and All Around Fun Smut” warning, cuz I’m tired of getting shitty reviews on Amazon based on the frankness of my sex scenes!!! Defend my honor friends! Lol

P.S. - For those of you asking ‘Why the Hell aren’t you working full time on Book Four of the Cartel Series…
Many of you have asked and all I can do is apologize and tell you that honestly, it was take a break or do something crazy like kill everyone off in a fiery car crash!
Book Three, Dead End, was in fact supposed to be the end, but there were so many requests for more… Plus, I wasn’t ready for it to end either. So, I trashed the ending and opened up another door for the characters.
The problem is, characters are like people – people who share your ‘head space’ 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for every one of the 365 days you’re blessed to live each year. After three years of the same people pushing at my brain, day in and day out, I was going a little crazy and needed some space. I decided I would invest some time in another project and come back the Cartel Series later this year.
As usual, my plan went awry. While organizing my next project, I kept getting distracted with ideas for the fourth Cartel book. The obvious solution was to work on both. It may take me a little longer, but I firmly believe that if you write what you enjoy, others will be entertained as well. (Please God, let that be true! lol)
To that end, I hope to publish ‘Average Jill’ sometime late in the fall, and ‘One Way’ (Cartel Series, Book 4 ) shortly thereafter.
To those who are disappointed (dare I say pissed!), all the best to each of you. I sincerely hope you’ll stick around and that you continue to enjoy and share my books in the future.

What to do, what to do…
So, yes, I’m currently working on the fourth book in the Cartel series (part-time), but I’m also trying to decide what other project I want to finish in the meantime. I’m at a stalemate talking to myself, so now I’m asking you: would you rather read…?

Different strokes…
Here in Texas we have a saying: “Different strokes for different folks.” Maybe elsewhere it’s the same, I dunno – but basically, it means you don’t get your panties in a twist over people who don’t do things the way you do them.
I’ve been following some of the comments and reviews on DEAD END, and I’ve actually been surprised. There’s been a lot of talk about who the main character should end up with, and everyone says something different. Even more so, there’s been a lot of reviews about what a ‘slut’ Alex is, even to the point of saying she has sex with everything but the animals. (Uh, just to clarify – while Alex does a lot of heavy flirting, she actually only has sex with TWO men in the entire series, Calen and Banker.)
But as Fred points out in that story, “everyone loves someone they shouldn’t, maybe even more than once.”
So now, I’m curious… Do you believe this is true? Do you think a person has to end up with a single someone or do you believe that grown adults can learn to open their hearts and love each other for all their differences? And have you ever experienced feeling of loving someone you shouldn’t – or of loving a certain someone while also loving someone else in a different but still ‘full’ way?

I said it would be LATE February, didn’t I? How much later can you get, right?
Anyway! I’m very excited to announce… rat-a-tat-a-tat-a-tat-a-tat-a (That’s my drum-roll for those of you who couldn’t figure out what the hell i was doing…)
DEAD END IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE!
It is available immediately at SMASHWORDS.com.
It is still pending review for distribution on Amazon, but should be available sometime tomorrow morning. Hopefully, soon after that, it will distribute to Barnes and Noble, ibooks, etc. (I will update links on the “Available Books” page as each format is distributed.)
