When it got too much to bear, I marched into the living room and handed Jed my cell phone. “No matter what, don’t give that back to me until after midnight tonight.”

He quirked an eyebrow. “Why midnight?”

“Because I’m fairly confident that I’m too proud to text a guy during the booty-call hour.”

Jed frowned. “What guy? The club guy? Jill, I’m not sure he’s the best idea. I mean, he is a foreigner and a musician – neither of which bodes well for future commitments.”

I winked, turning to go back to my room. “Well, Mr. Perfect is already taken, so I’ll just have to try my luck with this guy, won’t I? Don’t forget, midnight!”

My phone chimed a message and I ran back. Jed snatched it out of my reach with a glare, tucking it underneath him. “For your own good.”

I stood there, contemplating. “Don’t think I won’t reach under that fine ass of yours to get it.”

“Try it, sister. I dare you.”

Sexy Jed had turned into grumpy Jed. I walked away with a shake of my head. “Fine. Jeez. You give a guy one little job and the power goes to his head.”

Exciting New Content!

Two very exciting things happened this week…

First - Brandie Buckwine published her newest erotic installment of the Sturgis Diaries.

If you’re like me and can’t resist fearless storytelling, check it out. For anyone who hasn’t read any of her work, Brandie Buckwine has a phenomenal way of mixing taboo plot and real emotion with erotic elements that have you squirming in your seat. This latest story took me by surprise with its intensity, and I found myself cheering for Dylan right up to the end. I can’t wait for the next installment in the series!

Second – as promised, I’ve posted more Bonus Content! This week, we get an inside look from Calen Belarus in another “Interview with the Entourage”.

What a way to go…

Okay, so things are going well in the world of duel-project-writing (knock on wood)…

I’m happy to say Average Jill is just cresting the hilltop. She should be barreling down to the finish line and ready for edits by mid July. (Happy dance!)

Even more exciting, thanks to a friendly critique, I have a definite direction for One Way (no pun intended). I’ve come up with a grand idea to get me out of the corner I’d written myself into, but I’m still undecided on the method to carry out my plans. I won’t give you details, but I will say someone is going to die… for real this time.

(I know, right? I can practically hear you gasping in delicious horror and suspense! Who will it be? Surely she wouldn’t kill off HIM??? Mua-ha-ha!)

The best part? You’re going to decide how they go!

The winning method will be revealed next month when I post first look excerpts from the book, so be sure to cast your vote below or leave me a comment. (You can’t see me, but I’m rubbing my hands in excitement!)

To all my Happy Helping Hearts,

I’m going to ask you a favor and then I’m going to tell you why it benefits you to help me out.

First, my plea… I have a very dear friend who has been saving for some time now to buy a headstone for her Mom’s grave. (I had no idea how much funeral/burial costs were, but my goodness!!!!)
