Think Like an Apostle

Recently, I was reading through Paul’s letter to the Philippians, and I began to get a glimpse into his way of thinking as an apostle. I divided what I learned into four categories of apostolic thinking:

No matter what type of spiritual leader you are, I hope we can learn to not just think like a leader but to think like an apostle.

When You Are Old

When we think about thinking like a leader, the difference between the young and emerging leader and the older and experienced leader is often found in their will. John 21:18 describes this idea well.

Young leaders tend to do whatever they want to do. Old leaders refuse to do whatever they want to do and choose to do what is necessary. Leadership is not the freedom to do whatever we want to do but the responsibility to do what we must.

I hope this message helps you think like a leader, whether you’re a young leader or an old one.
