On Thursday, February 9, 2012: Dave Madden and I will be reading from our respective debut books at Hendrix College in Arkansas. I'm wicked excited about that. (I'm also wicked excited about this awesome mashup of our book covers that someone infinitely more clever than I put together for the poster.)

Who doesn't like an excellent, mustachioed picture of track legend Steve Prefontaine, I ask you? And even if you'd never wear shorts that short (or brown) whilst sprinting in front of a crowd, you, too, can race to the finish line for prizes and glory. (Awesome prizes: like signed debut novels and various exciting pieces of "book swag.")
How? By entering the YAmazing (Online) Race between January 16th at noon (EST) and January 26th.
