Continue to Pray for Pastor Saeed & Nagmeh

Continue to pray for Pastor Saeed and his wife Nagmeh and their children. We need to know this may be the future of American Christianity. True believers will be increasingly marginalized. We get that! This is not our home! Passing through “Vanity Fair” is a dangerous and tricky venture. We pray for those who persecute us and hope one day they may come to see the glory of the Lord in the gospel! But in the meantime we need to speak up for those imprisoned wrongly no matter where in the world they are. While “silent” diplomacy (translate that- “just trust us we have a plan”) gave away a dangerous nuclear scientist to Iran, we got a “promise” that things are moving in a good place. Show us the beef, Mr President!

To see Nagmeh’s short testimony in the middle of a message on Daniel I gave a month ago click this link:http://vimeo.com/channels/ccobsunday/82146020 She comes in at minute 8:30 or so and goes to minute 24– approx 16 minutes. It is powerful!!!

Christmas Bear Outreach

Wednesday, November 20th through Sunday, December 15th – Help Broken Loaves provide Christmas gifts to the children of families to whom we are presently ministering.

There are over 1,000 children that we desire to reach. If the Lord puts it on your heart, you can participate by doing the following:

Select a gift tag from our Christmas Bear display in the CCOB foyer. The back of the tag will indicate a boy or a girl and their age. You may select more than one tag.
Purchase a new gift (i.e., toy, game, Bible, hat, gloves, scarf, jewelry) appropriate for the child. We ask that you limit the amount you spend on each child to $20.
Wrap the gift and bring it to church with the tag attached. Please indicate the content of the gift at the bottom of the tag.

Gifts will be collected before and after all services. All gifts must be received no later than Sunday, December 15th.

For more details, contact Broken Loaves at brokenloaves@ccob.org or 732-679-4837.
