Saturday Studs and Sirens
It’s Saturday, so time for the weekly SSS blog hop where authors showcase bits of their work to share with each other or, in my case since I don’t have anything appropriate to share, recommend excellent reads in LGBT fiction.
I missed last Saturday because I had to go to London *gulp* a very big thing for this country mouse. But I survived [duh]! and the good thing about the trip as that I was able to read all the way there and all the way back.
Last week I recommended the Falls Chance Ranch st...

HAHAT! Winner
So the Hop against Homophobia and Transphobia is over for another year. I hope everyone who took part had fun. I read some wonderful posts, some entertaining posts, some tragic ones and many many that both educated me and left me food for thought. Thank you all the authors, publishers and bloggers who made the event such a success.
Thank you also to the commenters who went from blog to blog supporting the posters and an especial thank you to the people who visited my blog. With the magic of na...

Today in the Comfy Chair – B G Thomas
My guest today is my old friend B G Thomas who is celebrating the release of his 18th story, The Boy Who Came In From The Cold, and who is one of the “go to” guys for M/M romance.
No more natter – on with the questions! And be sure to read to the end where there will be a competition to enter.

Elin: Do your characters arrive fully fledged and ready to fly or do they develop as you work with them?
BG: The answer is somewhere in the middle. I rarely create a character to fit a part. I am not a...

Hump Day Hook
It’s that time again – Wednesday, aka hump day – so time for another snippet of Regency lunacy.

Aubrey looked at his sister’s angelic face and his heart sank. Slowly, and with many pauses and digressions, he related the terrible events of the previous evening. He told the story very badly, unable to describe the anguished expression on Chum’s face as he gasped “I lost it, Aubrey, I lost it!” and his own strange breathlessness as he realised who was holding the vital slip of paper so careles...

Saturday Studs and Sirens and so forth
Another Saturday so another bash at the Seductive Studs and Sirens blog hop. Six author/bloggers, all writing LGBT themed work, providing snippets of published work or WIPs, or commentary on other people’s work for the delight and entertainment of each other and, we hope, a few other people as well.
Last week I was talking about the Channelling Morpheus series by Jordan Castillo Price, a series of quite short erotically-charged, paranormal stories about vampires and revenge. Today I am going j...
Guest blogger – Jennifer James
Just for a change of pace, here’s Jennifer James taking over my my blog for today to talk about her new release, Marked. Take it away Jen ….

I have a bad habit of creating series. I love to read them, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I keep writing them. *grin* Last week I released my very first Indie title, a short story set in a universe called HOWL. This universe will be in the spirit of Felicity Heaton’s Vampire Realms, with lots of different characters, book lengths, and storyli...

Humpday Hook
Please note: The #HAHAT blog hop continues until 27th of May so you still have 5 days to read some terrific posts and maybe win prizes by commenting. My post is here with links to the rest of the blogs.
It’s humpday again, medears. this means bouncing around from blog to blog reading hooks from published works and WIPs provided by authors just because they can!
If you go here you can reach all the other authors. On the other hand you could stay and read my hook first. There’ll be another link a...

Click to reach the rest of the participants, only please read a bit first. There’s another link for you convenience, at the bottom of the post.
I think we’d all agree that one of the basic human requirements for existence is to have a safe, secure and comfortable home. Unfortunately, for many LGBT teens, coming out, being true to themselves, being honest with their families, puts an end to secure comfort and sees them at best couch hopping and, at worst, homeless. So many children suffer the c...

Humpday Hook
Archives are wonderful things.

Something very wrong with me in that my first thought on seeing this was “Where’s her other leg?” Fiddle with human anatomy at your peril
Back in March I was humping and hooking with an ancient piece of work that I wrote back in the 80s. It never had a title but if it did it would be called something like “The Rake and the Bluestocking” and there would be a dangerous looking man on a black stallion rearing over a shrinking blonde in white muslin on the cover. Get...

Seductive Studs and Sirens
Another week, another bash at Seductive Studs and Sirens. Just click on the picture for the list of participants – authors with snippets of their work or bloggers with posts relevant to LGBT fiction or wider issues.
Last week I was reading Masked Riders by Parhelion, one of the most mysterious and secretive authors of LGBT fiction. [The end of the book was just as terrific as the beginning by the way]. This week I am reading a book by a very nice lady whom I have actually met in person who has...
