It’s October! You know what that means. Scary writing prompts! And this one is a great one to start with.
Where is this and who wrote the message? Is this an abandoned house or aslyum swallowed up by nature and now a place where kids hang out and party? Is the message a prank? Or had a vicious murder actually happened here and the house could never be sold. Is the message a warning? Or is it a plea to discover the truth behind what really happened to a lost soul? Or a final note highlighting how those closest to them had failed them. Had the person died by suicide? Drowned? Butchered? Succumbed to the filth that even Mr. Clean couldn’t conquer?

Intriguing. Who is the person giving the directive? Government official? Scientist? The matriarch of a wealthy family? Who is the person that is a weapon? An assassin? Test subject? Pawn? Do they want to fulfill their destiny? What kind of weapon are they? Are codes embedded in their brain that could cause a global blackout? Could they be someone trained to kill supposedly without conscious? Maybe a bombshell that could upend a corporation/sovereignty/family rivalry with scandals?

It’s still summer, y’all. (So hush up about anything pumpkin spice.) And today’s prompt is hot!
Who are these two and what’s going on? Is she a con artist seducing from him international secrets? Or setting him up to take a fall where she gets the promotion/the plea deal/the family fortune? Could she be looking for any sign that he’s lying to her, that he is the one who can’t be trusted? Maybe she is hypnotizing him so he can sleep better at night.
