I’m suddenly a bit panicky. Too late for what? Has the person who wrote this done something drastic? Have they put a set of events into motion, events happening like the fall of dominos? Is the author leaving someone? Have murdered, embezzled, set a timer for global destruction, or already left for the grocery store?
