TAKE A CHANCE – Teaser :)

A small teaser…
Three days after Grant had disappeared, I was outside swimming. Today I had successfully managed to push all thoughts of Grant to the back of my mind. So when my head broke the water to find Grant Carter standing there, looking down at me, I wasn’t sure if I was imagining things or if he was really there.
I pushed my wet hair back and wiped the water from my eyes. Then I opened them again, and there he stood. Still there.
“Hey,” he said with his sexy grin. I wanted to hurl something at him to make that smile go away. It needed a warning label, too.
I wasn’t in the mood to talk to him. “Nan isn’t here,” I replied. She hadn’t been back since she’d left for Rosemary the last time. I was sure that was where Grant had run off to as well. He had gone to find her. Like he always did.
“Yeah, I know,” he replied.
I really should’ve gone back to swimming and ignored him. It was the smart thing to do. But then he could possibly take that as an invitation to join me. “What do you need?” I asked, in the most annoyed tone I could muster.
“I came to see you. It seems once a guy kisses you, you’re hard to forget,” he replied.
Not what I had been expecting. I swallowed the nervous knot in my throat. I would cave and forgive him too easily if he started saying things like that. Where had my backbone gone? I used to be stronger than this.
“You’re mad because I left,” he said.
I thought about retorting and changed my mind. That would only give him more power. He didn’t need to know he affected me at all.
“It was a jackass thing to do. But you scared me. I like to flirt with beautiful girls, but I don’t handle it well when one simple kiss makes my fucking head spin. You make me want things and feel a certain way. I’m not ready for that.”
I was expecting a lame I’m sorry; not that. “Oh,” was the only thing I could come up with. What did it mean, exactly, that our kiss made his head spin? Was that a good thing? It sounded like it… maybe.
Grant ran a hand through his long, unruly hair and let out a frustrated sigh. “I shouldn’t have left you without an explanation. It was unfair and I was only thinking of myself. I’m good at that. I just… what can I do to get you to forgive me?”
He still wasn’t asking for forgiveness. He was asking how to get forgiveness. Had anyone ever asked me how to get forgiveness before? How… unique.
Warning signs were going off in my head loudly, but somehow I ignored that. Because my heart wanted to forgive him. I didn’t want to push him away. No one ever took this much time to get to know me. Being lonely was something I had grown used to. Having someone here who wanted to get to know me bad enough to admit he was wrong, someone who cared to ask me how he could fix it, meant more than he realized.
“Don’t do it again,” I replied.
Grant’s eyes went wide and then a slow smile slid across his handsome face. “I won’t.”
I stepped back as he started tugging his shirt over his head. He threw it aside and slipped off his shoes, and then his eyes lifted to meet mine. “I’m not leaving this time. When you get tired of me, you’ll have to force me out.”
I couldn’t keep the silly smile off my face.

Sea Breeze #7 ?????
In the coastal town of Sea Breeze, Alabama where it’s always… hot, the local rock band, Jackdown, keeps things entertaining. The lead singer, Krit, especially keeps things interesting. From his pierced and tattooed body to his white blond hair and very dirty mouth Krit is the epitome of a bad boy. And he embraces it.
We were introduced to Krit in Because of Low when he shamelessly flirted with Low and then in Misbehaving we got to see more of him. He wasn’t just the naughty playboy. When he cared about someone he did whatever he could to help them. Even if it meant buying up all their lap dances (don’t ask, just read Misbehaving)
April 1, 2014 I will take you back to Sea Breeze but this time the heat just went up several notches higher.
Innocence was never meant for the addictive…
Addiction was something Krit Corbin accepted as part of his nature a long time ago. He decided to embrace it and flip his finger at the rules. Women had always been the number one thing on his list of addictions. He couldn’t get enough. Being the lead singer in a rock band had only made access to his favorite addiction that much easier.
Being alone was the only thing Blythe Denton understood. The small town minister’s family that raised her hadn’t accepted her as their own. The minister’s wife had always made sure Blythe understood just how unworthy she was of love. When Blythe is sent away to college and given a chance to finally be free of living as an unwanted burden, she looks forward to having peace in her life. Being alone isn’t something that bothers her. She escapes reality in the stories she writes.
However, the ridiculously sexy tattooed guy who keeps throwing parties in the apartment above hers is driving her crazy. For starters, he doesn’t treat her like she would expect a guy with a different woman always hanging on his arm to treat someone as uninteresting as her. She looks nothing like the gorgeous women she sees parading in and out of his apartment, but for some strange reason he keeps showing up at her door.
During a party at his apartment, Krit’s new neighbor comes to the door with her long brown hair pulled up in a messy knot and a pair of glasses perched on her cute little nose. She wants him to turn down the music, but he convinces her to stay.
Krit Corbin may have just found his biggest addiction yet. And Blythe Denton realizes too late that she’s finally been claimed.

Vote on the city you want for my release signing and party
I began this on my Facebook page. Out of all the cities in the US there were some definite winners. However, I can only go to ONE city on the day TAKE A CHANCE releases February 25. So I need YOUR help. I want to go where I have the most readers. After the signing I will be going to get drinks at a restaurant nearby and readers will be welcome to join me to help me celebrate my release.

Take A Chance cover almost there
Ok, ok, I’ll throw you guys a bone. This is what’s going on. I hope you’ve been following along, because the first fan to tweet @RT_Magazine the completed puzzle cover on January 6th wins a FULL collection of all of my books. ALL OF THEM. A New Year
I love January 1.
I always have. It’s my chance every year to start new. To have new goals and to focus on new things.
This year I have so many new things planned that I can’t wait to get to.
Each series of mine has new and exciting news!
The Rosemary Beach Series:
Many of you know that the Too Far books in this series have up until now been self published. However, in November I agreed to sign them over to Atria. I’m very happy with that decision as I have enjoyed working with Atria on the other Rosemary Beach books. The team there is amazing. So what does this mean? The covers are staying the same. Atria will use the same stock photos that were on the originals however they may do a few small changes to the font. Rush and Blaire will remain the same. March 4, 2014 Fallen Too Far will hit stores in print. Later the same month Never Too Far will also hit stores. In April Forever Too Far will hit stores and then in May…. RUSH TOO FAR will hit stores.
February 25, 2014 – GRANT GET’S HIS BOOK! Take A Chance is the first of a two book deal for Grant and Harlow. One More Chance is their second book and it releases July 1, 2014.
Tripp will get his book December 2014.
The Sea Breeze Series:
Krit won over hearts in MISBEHAVING and not just readers hearts but mine as well. His book is next in this series. I will be revealing its name and a small blurb from it later this month. It releases April 1, 2014
Dewayne has been in every Sea Breeze book there is. You’ve asked for his book more times than I can count. Well, Sea Breeze #8 is Dewayne’s book. It releases June 3, 2014 and more info on it coming this Spring.
So that’s SIX books from me so far in 2014…
But there is one more thing.
My Existence series is the only series I have that is paranormal. It is also more on the YA side of things. However, I am doing some changes to it and making it more of a NA read although keeping the same storyline. It will be rereleasing in the spring. All three with new covers. All three self published. All three with hot new content. And All three will be only $2.99 each.
I know the Existence fans were all “die hard” for the first Existence cover. However, now that Existence is no longer with Wild Child Publishing but once again mine I am changing the covers. Those models (however hot they may be) have been used a bajillion times. I am kind of sick of seeing them. So… here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come from the new covers…

Take A Chance cover reveal fun!
You’ve all been waiting and some of you have even be preordering without seeing the cover. Which is extremely cool and I love you for it.
