Buy on Amazon   My Review  DRAKE an Oral History of the Dragon War, was by far one of the more interesting books I've read this year.  I found the odd style in which it was written rather appealing.  Like a good news report, you are drawn into each and every interview as the book delves deeper and into how the Dragon War began.  I have to give the author kudos for making the Drake emergence seem very much like a real event.   



Professionally trained as a Systems Engineer, Mike has been a writer his entire life, spending his summers as a child writing of daring adventures and epic science-fiction exploits in a college-ruled notebook instead of playing video games. That love of writing stayed with him until it finally burst forth in the form of "Final Dawn," a thrilling post-apocalyptic series released in an episodic format that has sold over 70,000 copies and counting. Final Dawn was followed by two other stand-alone books, "Prip'Yat" and "Cold Springs," and Mike's latest work is a new five-part series titled "Drake: An Oral History of the Dragon War." Christine loves Sci-fi shows like Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate...But also loves science shows such as Through the Wormhole, Ancient Aliens, Hunting the Elements.
Christine started her writing career in February of 2011 when she told her family she was going to write a book. (Her husband and kids laughed and said “Yeah, right”.)  She sent her first novel to the editor 3 months later.
Christine keeps a motley crew of ninjas, cabana boys, minions, and dwarves (the Snow White kind). 
Christine’s favorite Avenger is Thor.  Christine’s favorite eye-candy is Thor.  Christine’s imaginary boyfriend is Thor....



Christine was raised in Louisiana’s Cajun country where her mother’s family live.  Even though she has spent the last 15 years in Virginia, she is still Cajun at heart.
Christine was an inflight electronics technician and spent time in Guam, Diego Garcia, and Wake Island. (The ironic part is that she is not a fan of the beach)
Christine read encyclopedias as a teen they were her favorite books up until her husband introduced her to the World of Darkover by Marion Zimmer Bradley.
Growing up Christine wanted to be a Geologist that love stayed with her into adulthood and prompted her to become a GIA Gemologist.  Gemstones became a passion and lead her to the art of making jewelry.


Christine took a hula hoop class and still can’t hula hoop.
Christine is the proud owner of Pokémon Silver, Fire Red, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Leaf Green, and Pearl. (Rangers is lame!!!)
Christine is Dyslexic and Ambidextrous. (Sill can’t tell her left from her right) She never let this stand in her way of writing.
Christine is not as outgoing as she would like to be, but still keeps trying.
Christine is not much of a drinker, but still likes Rum and Diet Coke, or Amaretto and pineapple juice on occasion.  She also enjoys Rummy Bears and Jello shots.
Christine was in pageants when she was a kid, she still has the 36 crowns she won and wears them during gatherings to remind her family she is still Queen.
