Satire is vastly different from the snark and irony that are the default humor settings of the internet.
Among other things, Bruce Sterling is a fine satirist.
This is one of the driest pieces of satire I’ve ever read. Not that I read every word. Part of...
Russia RebukesU.S., InsistingSnowden NotWithin Border
Russia’s foreign minister, Sergey V. Lavrov, chastised U.S. demands regarding Edward J. Snowden, insisting that Mr. Snowden “did not cross the Russian border.”
A lot of he said she said here, with no new information. Though I had missed that bit in the second to last paragraph were Snowdenapparentlytold the South China Morning Post that he applied to Booz Allen “…so he could collect information about the N.S.A.’s secret surveillance progra...

I’m starting to feel like a tween following the exploits of their favorite pop idol. I just want to scream, “OMG!” at the top of my lungs.
I though this story had everything already, but I was fooling myself. No spy story is complete without Russia.
That massive sigh of relief that wok...

“You are in an enviable position - have fun and make the most of it.”
Snowden seems to have taken that bit to heart.
