NEW FOOTAGE ON WAY!!!
My crack publicist Matt will be cutting together footage this weekend from our fab-u-los-o Book Launch Party!
This took place (naturally) at a Motel 6, and what better locale than Hollywood?
We will put together a reel of (legal) excerpts & post online soon!
Vicariously enjoy the wafting smell of Cheese Wiz!!

BOOK LAUNCH REPORT!!!
Well, our fab-u-lous Book Launch Party took place last night at the Motel 6 in Hollywood!!
Cheese wiz, crackers, M&M's & cheap wine were enjoyed by all!! Since this is L.A., most attendees were from the film business, so we had a fully crew to shoot some fun video we hope to post soon!!
Big shoutout to Melissa Hofmann, sound mixer extraordinaire, who spent her dinner break from Paramount grooving to the sounds of DJ Randy.
Thanks to all for making this a FUN & successful event!!

KOMEN RACE FOR THE CURE!
Well, I volunteered at the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure on Saturday in L.A.
The turnout was fantastic!! I got to carry the "1-5 Year" survivors sign, was hit by confetti from a Korean pop star, and even carried the famed raffle prize by L'Oreal!!
This organization raises millions toward finding a cure & it was wonderful to be surrounded by co-survivors who are so high on life and so POSITIVE!!!

About the wonders of health insurance in America (I had had surgery for breast cancer):
"There have been further indignities from the wacky world of healthcare. I recently received a bill for $1,600. This was for the biopsy of my tumor directly after surgery. Per the lady at the insurance, this is why the claim was denied: I had not authorized the surgeon to submit my flesh to the lab. Now, considering that I was lying, anesthetized, on a table (like the poor old sun in “Prufrock”), would I suddenly rise like Lazarus and instruct, “Dr. Candle, you may biopsy my carcinoma!” before falling back unconscious? To such depths of idiocy has this great nation sunk. Obamacare? Bring it on!"
