Review: SKARLETT RIOT - 'INVICTA'
Skarlett Riot'Invicta'Genre: Modern MetalDespotz Records, 2021I'm now at a point inmy love for Skarlett Riot that new releases bring with them a certainamount of trepidation. Will the new batch of songs meet the qualityof their previous output? Will the performances be up to scratch? Will they have found new ways of presenting their sound or will theyhave stagnated by now? Well. Any fears

Ten Toy Lines That Made My Eighties Childhood EPIC
The latest episode of Planet Hex is my favourite one yet! It's time to talk about some classic toy lines that made my eighties childhood epic. I was born in the twilight moments of the 1970s and as such was well placed to enjoy everything an eighties childhood had to offer. I hope you enjoy it. Please subscribe!

MTV: 1984 Halloween Special with Elvira - Mistress of the Dark!
I needed some retro goodness to see me through the day, so why not 5 hours in the company of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark?

OVERKILL - MARVEL UK'S FORGOTTEN TREASURE TROVE
Nostalgia does strange things to you, especially when you're prone to browsing Ebay for retro goodies to add to the backdrop for my YouTube channel. When I came across a wealth of issues of OVERKILL, the seemingly forgotten Marvel UK anthology comic from the early 1990s, a lot of happy memories came back. The thing is, while my memory has undoubtedly been coloured by nostalgia, the Overkill

The Beano is still the Beano, and I'm thrilled
I hesitated beforebuying copies of The Beano for my sons. Here was a comic that prettymuch created my sense of humour back in the eighties and earlynineties. As a kid I had stacks of Beano issues wherever I couldstash them. Each weekly issue was a thrill, a big event in my week. Iwould read every issue cover to cover, then again, repeating thisthroughout the week until the next one arrived

COMPENDIUM 2020 – STORY 52: SHARDS OF THE INFINITE: THE MYRIAD MAN
Shards of the Infinite:
The Myriad Man
Compendium 2020 –
Story 52
By Andrew Hawnt
Author's note: This
story completes a trio of tales that act as the finale to the
Compendium 2020 project, namely The Living Shard and Coming of theVeilwalkers. I would advise reading those to prepare you for what is
to come.

Shards of the Infinite: Coming of the
Veilwalkers
Compendium 2020 –
Story 51
by Andrew Hawnt
Author's note: This
story follows on from story number 50, The Living Shard. I would
recommend checking that one out prior to reading this part of the
Compendium 2020 project's three-story finale.

Daniel Clay had a
hangover. Aside from writing stories, that's pretty much all he had a
knack for.

COMPENDIUM 2020 – STORY 50: SHARDS OF THE INFINITE: THE LIVING SHARD
The Living Shard
Compendium 2020 –
Story 50
By Andrew Hawnt
Between life and death,
matter and void, this realm and that, hung a nameless Cathedral, its
spires stretching up into the endless seas of being that formed and
maintained the Multiverse.
“I have found the
shard,” echoed the voice of Malaris as the heavily-robed Mage
strode into the chamber of Kiasi the Watcher of All. He came to a
stop
