'Euphoria' Star Shares Devastating Health Diagnosis as Season 3 Begins Production
Actor Eric Dane, who became known for playing Dr. Mark Sloan in the hit show "Grey's Anatomy" and currently stars in the HBO series "Euphoria," shared a devastating health diagnosis this week.
In an interview with People Magazine, Dane revealed that he has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
"I have been diagnosed with ALS,” Dane told People Magazine. “I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.”
Despite his diagnosis, it seems that Dane is still set to appear in the third season of "Euphoria," which is set to begin filming next week.
“I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to set of Euphoria next week,” he told People Magazine. “I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time.”
ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, is a rare and progressive neurological disorder that gradually leads to muscle paralysis.
Early symptoms of the disease often include limb weakness or twitching and may be accompanied by slurred speech. The condition impacts the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord responsible for muscle control, ultimately causing patients to lose the ability to speak, eat, walk, and breathe on their own.
There is currently no cure for ALS. While most patients live three to five years after diagnosis, some patients have been known to live on for decades.
Rebecca Gayheart Gives Dismissed Divorce Update Amid Eric Dane's Health Crises
Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane have decided to keep it in the family and are dismissing their divorce after seven years.
In a recent interview with E! News, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum said, "We are best friends. We are really close. We are great co-parents." She emphasized they are focused on their daughters Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13. "We really figured out the formula to staying a family and I think our kids are benefiting greatly from it and we are as well."
They are still married in the wake of Dane’s recent ALS diagnosis. He faces a progressive neurodegenerative disease, and Dane is grateful for his family’s support and will continue to work on HBO’s Euphoria with filming for Season 3 starting April 14 as he navigates his new normal.
Gayheart said, “I think it’s important to not look at a relationship that ends as a failure. It’s just a season. It wasn’t a failure. It was a huge success.” She pointed out they were together for 15 years and built a family as proof of their bond.
While the couple has faced public scrutiny, including Dane's past relationship with Priya Jain, with whom he got a matching tattoo. However, Dane and Gayheart's focus remains firmly on their family.
Gayheart revealed that their daughters are exploring interests in modeling and acting. She said she and Dane provide a supportive environment for their children's aspirations, but she noted that the girls were still both too young to firmly pursue such careers.
As they navigate his health problems and their divorce dismissal, Gayheart and Dane are proving that relationships can evolve while still having a foundation of mutual respect and love.

How Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes Are Redefining Athletic Fame in the Digital Era
In today's world, excelling in sports and being popular online often go hand in hand. Olivia "Livvy" Dunne and Paul Skenes are a great example of this trend as a powerful young couple. They show that modern athletes are not only performing well in sports but also creating strong online identities.
Dunne is a star gymnast at LSU. She smartly used the NCAA's Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policy to build her own brand. With millions of followers on TikTok and Instagram, she is highly marketable, landing sportswear deals and high-profile modeling gigs. Dunne expertly combines her gymnastics talent with engaging online content.
Paul Skenes, meanwhile, was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft and is now part of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. His impressive baseball skills continue to grow his reputation, but his relationship with Dunne has also brought more public attention.
Together, Dunne and Skenes showcase a new kind of fame that blends sports prowess with social media influence. What makes them stand out is not just their talents, but how they enhance each other’s public image.
Dunne’s online expertise has boosted Skenes in the public eye, while his rising baseball career adds a level of seriousness to their shared fame. They form a new kind of celebrity that feels authentic and relatable.
Of course, keeping up their high-powered fame isn't always easy. Skenes told GQ, "I came out of the last game in New York, and I went up to our game-planning coach, and I was like, 'I just made it hard on myself. He’s like, 'What are you talking about?’ And I’m like, 'I've got to top that next year.'"
Their journey is more than a romance; it's about creating influence. In a time of NIL, digital platforms, and online sponsorships, Dunne and Skenes are proving that athletic fame can extend far beyond stadiums.
Dunne takes the lead on their social media fame. "She’s been dealing with all the notoriety and all that longer than I have,” Skenes said. “I view it as, it’s not my job to take pictures with these people, it’s my job to throw, and them wanting to take pictures is getting in the way of that,” he explained. “But she always handles everything very well—she’s very comfortable to be around for other people who come up and ask to talk, that kind of thing. I mean, she never says no to a picture. I say no to them."
The couple's fame is about sharing compelling stories, maintaining a strong presence, and engaging with fans beyond just game days. For today's athletes and brands wanting to connect with audiences, Dunne and Skenes provide an ideal example: they are talented, media-savvy, and deeply connected in the digital age.

Jason Momoa and Girlfriend Adria Arjona Turn Heads at 'Star Wars' Sneak Peek
He's the best swordsman in the Dune universe. She's a founding member of the Rebel Alliance in Star Wars: Andor, and together, Jason Momoa and Adria Arjona are a very powerful couple. At a sneak peek screening of the debut of Andor Season 2 in London, on April 10, Momoa and Arjona stepped out in style.
Arjona wore a dazzling green dress with a stylish asymmetrical neckline, while Momoa rocked a light pink suit with a classic white button-up. They were joined by the rest of the cast of Andor Season 2, including Diego Luna, Denise Gough, Genevieve O'Reilly, Ben Mendelsohn, Faye Marsay, and Stellan Skarsgård. It's unclear if Skarsgård and Momoa had a brief Dune reunion or not.

Andor Season 2 is one of the most anticipated shows of 2025, and certainly one of the most proactive Star Wars projects ever. As Bix, Arjona's role in Season 2 is very pivotal. In the series, she plays Cassian's (Diego Luna) love interest, who was sidelined for much of Season 1. But in Season 2, she is front-and-center and very much in the action.

Could Arjona get her boyfriend a job in a galaxy, far, far away? Right now, that seems unlikely, since Momoa is busy not only returning for Dune 3, but also about to play Lobo in Supergirl. But who knows what the future might hold?
Andor Season 2 will consist of twelve episodes total. Three new episodes will hit Disney+ every week, starting on April 22.

Douglas Murray Calls Out Joe Rogan Over 'Just Asking Questions'
During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, author and columnist Douglas Murray challenged Joe Rogan over the types of guests he’s featured on the podcast. He particularly called out Rogan over guests offering strong opinions on global conflicts without clear expertise.
Murray questioned Rogan’s tendency to platform figures who “just ask questions” but may actually be spreading misinformation or speculation under the guise of curiosity. He pointed to several examples of guests who discuss complex historical and geopolitical issues while admitting they lack formal expertise.
“There’s a point at which ‘I’m just raising questions’ isn’t valid anymore,” Murray said. “You’re not asking questions — you’re telling people something.”
Rogan defended his choices, stating that his guest selection is more about personal interest than ideological alignment. “I don’t think about it that way,” Rogan said. “I just think, I’d like to talk to that person.”
Murray pressed further, arguing that influential platforms like Rogan’s carry a responsibility to elevate informed perspectives. He felt Rogan owed the public more care when addressing weighty topics. Murray also criticized the rise of self-appointed experts who gather large audiences without the background to truly provide meaningful analysis.
During the episode, the conversation also discussed the broader trend of comedians, entertainers, and online personalities walking into the political commentary space even though they have limited subject knowledge at times. Murray pointed to this shift as a significant cultural moment that should be examined. He suggested that some elevated voices, particularly those on Rogan's podcast, may blur the line between genuine inquiry and unchecked speculation.
Despite their disagreements, the exchange between Rogan and Murray remained respectful and thought-provoking. It highlighted the tension between open conversation and the risks of misinformation in the podcast era. As podcasts continue to shape public discourse, the episode raised timely questions about credibility, influence, and the boundaries of “just asking.”

Bill Hader Reveals Reason He Once Got Fired From Movie Theater Job
To learn that actor and comedian Bill Hader has been doing Bill Hader-like things long before the collective world was introduced to his comedic stylings on Saturday Night Live in 2005 would hardly be surprising.
But it's always pretty entertaining whenever someone at Hader's level of success dials things back long before becoming a familiar face and decides to share a job-related story.
The backdrop for this classic is Hader working at a movie theater selling tickets, and a sorority buying out one of the theaters to see Titanic prior to its worldwide release in 1997.
The result was Hader opting to pull a relatively savage move upon taking exception to being made fun of by the group.

Yes, the 46-year-old comedian went ahead and spoiled the movie for the group of sorority girls, but it was hardly the obvious spoiler of "yeah, the ship crashes and sinks at the end."
Hader explains:
"I got fired from a movie theater for ruining the end of 'Titanic,'" Hader said. "I was working in a movie theater, and 'Titanic' hadn't come out yet, and a sorority had bought out the movie theater and they were in the doorway and I was going, 'Hey, guys. Can you guys move?' They were making fun of me. They said I looked like Charles Manson. Which I kinda did. I had a little bowtie on and cummerbund, and I was like, 'Hey guys, please move.' And they were like, 'No.'"
"So when they went in, as I tore the tickets, I was like, 'Enjoy the movie. The boat sinks at the end. Leo dies,'" Hader continued. "And they were like, 'No, he doesn't.' I go, 'Yeah, you think he's asleep. But he's frozen.' And that showed them."
Hader went on to share that while his manager "came down smiling," he informed young Bill that he had to fire him, but adding that, "he loved it," and ultimately could not look Hader in the eye while doing so.
Whether or not the move by Hader was fair retaliation for being told he looked like notorious serial killer Charles Manson, it's seemingly impossible not to envision such a sequence developing with the comedic mind of a then-teenage Bill Hader, who was just standing around tearing up movie stubs.
New Oscars Awards Category Puts the Pressure On the Next James Bond
After nearly 100 years, the Academy Awards have finally decided to create a new award category for what is arguably one of the coolest and most enduring aspects of filmmaking — stunts. But, don't expect any movies from 2025 or even 2026 to be eligible. Instead, this new category won't be part of the Oscars ceremony until 2028, meaning 2027 movies will be on the hook for the award of Best Stunt Design, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
While Tom Cruise is likely furious that 2025's Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning won't be eligible, this news does put pressure on Amazon to get that next James Bond movie out by 2027. Of all the action movie franchises in history, the Bond films totally set the standard for stunt design in major motion pictures. Yes, some might say that since then, several films (and franchises) have surpassed the 007 films, but it's still very hard to argue with the incredible stunts from all the Bond films; from the car chases of the Sean Connery era to the amazing fights performed by Daniel Craig.

Obviously, there will be plenty of action movies released in 2027, including Avengers: Secret Wars, which, right now, would likely be the leading contender for this category. (At least in terms of movies we know are coming out.) This news also probably is making Vin Diesel sweat, since Fast X: Part 2 seems to be languishing in development limbo. It's also possible the third Dune film could hit in 2027, making this new Oscars stunt category into a very, very big deal.
Currently, the next James Bond film has started pre-production in London, with its new producers, Amy Pascal and David Heyman, hard at work. Meanwhile, the Oscars seems to still have a sweet spot for 007; the 2025 Oscars featured an intricate musical tribute to James Bond, which, depending on who you asked, was either strange or incredible.
Here's hoping Bond can get it together for a 2027 release. In the first year that the Oscars gives out a Best Stunt Design award, James Bond should at least be nominated.

'Euphoria' Star Eric Dane Shares Heartbreaking News About His Health
Television viewers know Eric Dane as Mark "McSteamy" Sloan on Grey's Anatomy and Cal Jacobs on Euphoria, but now, the 52-year-old actor is facing the biggest challenge of his life.
On April 10, Dane revealed to People that he had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. "I have been diagnosed with ALS. I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter," he told the media outlet.

“I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to the set of Euphoria next week,” he added. “I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time.” The cast and crew of the HBO series will return to work on April 14 for the third season.
Other celebrities who have been diagnosed with ALS include singer Roberta Flack, actor David Niven, NFL player Steve Gleason, and physicality Stephen Hawking.
The ALS Association describes the disease as a "progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord." Symptoms often "begin in the muscles that control speech and swallowing or in the hands, arms, legs or feet" — although each case is considered unique and might not follow that pattern.
The ALS Association also notes that in 90% of the cases, "there’s no known family history of the disease." The average life expectancy for a person with ALS is two to five years.

Mick Jagger May Not Get Married Despite Engagement To Melanie Hamrick
Melanie Hamrick, longtime partner of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, has confirmed they are engaged, but she said marriage may never be in the cards.
In a new interview with Paris Match, the 37-year-old retired ballerina revealed that she and Jagger, 81, have been engaged for “two or three years.” Despite the ring and commitment, she said they’re in no rush to walk down the aisle. “Maybe one day we'll marry, maybe not. We are so happy in our current life that I would be too afraid to change anything.”
The couple’s relationship began in 2014 after meeting backstage in Tokyo. Their romance officially started months later, and they welcomed their son Deveraux in 2016. Hamrick admitted that their 44-year age difference isn't a factor for her.
Though she previously played coy about the diamond ring, calling it a “promise ring” in a 2022 interview with People, Hamrick just now acknowledged their engagement. However, that engagement came with no pressure for a wedding. She noted that the keys to her relationship with the aging rocker were mutual support and happiness.
The pair have occasionally collaborated professionally, most notably on the ballet Porte Rouge, which featured choreography by Hamrick set to Rolling Stones music. Despite the success, Hamrick said she prefers to keep her work separate from their relationship.
“We're in such similar careers, to keep it separate is better,” she said.
While fans may never see a rock 'n’ roll wedding for Jagger, the couple appear content defying convention. For now, the ring signifies a deep bond, not a ticking clock or promise to head to the altar.

Patrick Schwarzenegger Reveals Inspired ‘White Lotus’ Wrap Gift
Patrick Schwarzenegger revealed to InStyle the inspired wrap gift he gave to his White Lotus season three co-stars.
Schwarzenegger made the reveal in a video posted to the outlet’s Instagram page. In the clip, the 31-year-old actor unfurls a T-shirt which he designed that features caricatures of himself and the rest of season three’s star-studded cast, including Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, and Aimee Lou Wood. The cast is backed by serene vistas of palm trees, a beach, and monkeys. Schwarzenegger even found room for the series’ creator and director. "And there's Mike White in the middle with his director's chair, with his big microphone," he laughed.

Schwarzenegger consistently made headlines for his fearless performance in the third season of HBO’s megahit series. He grabbed attention with a surprising nude scene early on in the season before nearly sending fans into fits with a controversial encounter between himself and his on-screen brother (Sam Nivola).

Schwarzenegger told People that he and his on-screen family — including parents Isaacs and Posey and sister Sarah Catherine Hooks — were so committed to being a realistic unit that White was somewhat put off. "We hung out as a family so much that Mike [White] came to us three weeks in, and he was like, ‘You guys can chill out with the family thing.’”
The actor later told Deadline that he "literally cried” while filming the season’s violent conclusion. “During the end of it, I just looked over at Aimee [Lou Wood], and I just grabbed her hand. I think, partly because she dies, and then our relationship, just like in real life…it also was kind of just the closure of this chapter of my life."
