Chrissy Chicory writes with a teacup in one hand and a candle flickering nearby, spinning whimsical tales that blend heartfelt mystery, lyrical language, and everyday enchantment.

Based in coastal Florida, she is the author of the Nettles B&B ParaCozy Mystery Series, the Culebra Chronicles romantasy saga, the dark folkloric Hallow Rising series, the gentle Lucid Living books, and the Ink and Verse handwriting workbooks.

Chrissy is also the hostess of The Velvet Teacup Society, a cozy reader community devoted to stories, reflection, and gentle connection—where messy buns, comfortable pajamas, and fabulous tea are always welcome, and readers are warmly invited to take a seat at the table.
