Scott Rhine wanted to find a job that combined his love of reading with math problem solving, so he studied both short stories and computer languages. That's what happened with the sister series, Jezebel's Ladder. In book five, the third generation psis were so angry with how this world treated women that they had to do something (Senescence)(less)

Scott Rhine

“As far as how to treat her personally, she’ll teach us how if we let her. But it begins with listening and respect.”
Scott Rhine

“Aaron laid a hand on [Winn's] shoulder. "Winston, we're both adults. A duck charity every week? Is that what she told you as a child? Say the words with me: 'coven meeting.'"
"No..."
"And the meetings on All Hallows Eve, the solstices, all special meetings for duck wetland emergencies?"
"Glee club," Winn said weakly.
"Right. I often take off all my clothes in the moonlight and dance for glee club.”
