Release Day – Part 2!

As I said in my previous Release Day post, we found a few typos in the paperback version of the book, so we had to delay it a few days. (For those of you who bought the Kindle version and downloaded it right away, be sure to get the updated download to correct those typos.)

Anywho… the paperback has been blessed and is now available for order!

It will take 3-5 days for the book to trickle through the process and make it to Amazon, but you don’t need to wait if you don’t want to. You can order...

Release day!

Yes, release day is finally here! If you’ve pre-ordered the Kindle version, check your devices. You should now be able to download and begin reading. For those of you who decided to wait for the paperback version, I’m afraid you’re going to have to wait just a little longer. I’m afraid we discovered a couple typos in the proof version of the paperback and we need a day or two to correct them. I’ll have more details as soon as they develop.

If you want the Kindle version, what are you waiting...

Unleash Cover Reveal! #WriterWednesday

Last week’s cover reveal went so well, I thought I’d do another one. Unfortunately, I don’t write fast enough to get another book ready for a cover reveal in a week. Lucky for me, Lauren was able to help me out by having a book ready to reveal. And I’m going to help her out by revealing the cover of her book!

Long time readers of the blog may remember Lauren Harris from my previous blog posts about Exorcising Aaron Nguyen and The Girl in Acid Park. Those stories were part of Lauren’s Millroad...

The Perils of Prague Cover Reveal!

At long last, the day is here. You really don’t know how long I’ve been waiting to do this. It has been six years getting this book ready. I’ve been sitting on this beautiful Scott Pond cover for a year. I’m so thrilled to let everyone see it. But that isn’t all I have in store for you today.

For those of you who haven’t been following along, The Perils of Prague is my Steampunk Adventure/Comedy novel and the first installment of my Adventures of Crackle and Bang series. I’ve got at least fiv...

Some Technical Difficulties

As you can see, I’m still having some technical difficulties with my site’s images. I’ve had a few issues from hackers who’ve been playing with site privileges without asking for permission, but I think I’ve managed to repair most of the damage. Unfortunately this little issue with images under WordPress Multi-site is still thwarting me. But that’s not why I’m posting today…

The real news for this post is that I’ve got some very important news about The Perils of Prague that I’ll be releasing...

This weekend, Capclave!

It is convention time again. Time for what will be my last con of the 2016 convention season. Yup, I’m talking about the con in my back yard: Capclave. If you’re going to be in the Gaithersburg, Maryland area and you enjoy good fiction and want to hear all kinds of authors and other artists talk about the nature of modern writing, I know where you want to be this weekend.

small_dodo_transparentAnd if you’re going to be there, there is a good chance that you’ll see me. I’ll be returning as a guest of Capclave this...

Balticon 50 Schedule! (sorta)

Yes, it is almost time for Balticon, my favorite con event of the year! And that means it is also time to publish my Balticon schedule! Which I would do… if I had it. Which I don’t exactly.B50_banner_1

You see, over the past year the Balticon staff has been hit with some illness. And the two tracks that were hit the worst, Literary and New Media, happen to be the ones that I’m usually on. So this year’s schedule is a little more unconfirmed that usual.

But, as close as I can piece together, here is where...

Pondering Patreon

Life has kept mebusy with a lot of different things lately and unfortunately it has kept me from doing my regular updates on the blog. The day job has been frenetic. I’ve got friends who’ve gonethrough some tough times that I’ve tried to help out, the Balticon Podcast to keep on schedule, and the everyday effort to keep the home fires burning.

I’ve done a lot of serious thinking about my novel, and I just started the work on Draft 6. But it is still going to be a while before I can announce t...

Hanging up the mic, for now.

This announcement has actually been a long time coming. I should have posted it months ago, but I’ve been up against the wall with different projects and haven’t had the time to post. For the time being, I’m going to have to put a hold on audio projects. We have a number of unfinished repairs to the studio area that have been put off too long. So, for the time being, the studio will get packed away until the repairs are complete.

Much as I’d like to expand my audio work, I’ve had too many set...
