This author stands out for a life characterized by remarkable diversity and change, as well as a constant reinvention of himself. Born in 1962 in Venezuela, into a family of Italian immigrants, his childhood was spent in a privileged and cultured environment. However, his innate sensitivity and passion for justice led him to delve into politics from an early age. During his adolescence, he was activist of MIR and joined the Christian left, maintaining an active involvement while studying sociology. Although he eventually distanced himself from Marxism, he never renounced his social commitment, which manifested in various ways.

Graduating in Education, and diametrically opposed to the Prussian model of education and what Paulo Freire would call bancarian education that dominates contemporary society, he devoted his career to teaching history and promoting community development in the "barrios" of Caracas, especially supporting projects of the Fe y Alegría school network. His work as a teacher led him to participate in educational research projects, community development, public sector management, and consultancy, including international collaborations. Back in the Fe y Alegría network, he founded the Community Management School to support various projects in Caracas, and in that role, he clashed with criminal organizations and paramilitaries.

The country's political circumstances and the enthusiasm surrounding the early Chavista regime led him to emigrate to Europe, where he thought he would weather the storm of Chavez's misgovernment. However, the government turned into a militaristic regime, and meanwhile, the author started a PhD at Deusto University, Spain, and finally settled in England with his family. There, he worked as a humanitarian operator, advisor, and advocate in organizations such as the British Refugee Council and the Red Cross, among others. In England, he began writing stories that he published on a blog, reaching thousands of readers, some of whom were enthusiastic about his fantasy, humour, and raw entertaining tales. Among his readers were translators who offered to translate his stories into English and Italian.

The author felt satisfied with providing a quality education to his children, both graduates in the United Kingdom, and decided to leave the comfortable life in England. He ventured into a project in Cameroon that turned out to be a total failure. He doesn't regret it at all. He recharged his energy and decided to return to Europe to write a novel. While he cooks his novel, he published some of his short stories, the "Bloody migrant stories," because that's how he was insulted the day of the Brexit vote.
