Comment on 001 – Introducing Learning To See by Andy Allen
Ian – thanks for this. My wife and I first heard you at the World Vision Artist Conference in January and were deeply impacted by your story and words. Your book was also profound and moving. Listening to this podcast I found so much of myself in your description of people who have experienced 'Spiritual Violence'. I'm intrigued by the number of people I meet on this same journey. Thank you for giving words to what we've lived through and to the process of finding hope in the good news of Christ.

Comment on Some Weeks You Can't Do Church by Patricia Guadalupe
Dearest Ian,
I love you and I thank God for you. After coming to a close with your outstanding and excellent book, I have been thinking much about my beloved three children, and life, my life. (God blessed me with two daughters and a son, the most amazing and awesome people in my life!)
By God's Grace my biopsy was negative, yet, as you know there are other forms of cancer that sap the life of a soul. If I may humbly ask you to please pray for me, and my three children, and their dad, I'd greatly appreciate this. I am a firm believer in the power of prayer.
God bless you, those whom you love, and the work you do in HIS honor.

Dearest Ian,
My Brother in Christ. Thank you for your book, website, and for featuring Jean Vanier, as his words of wisdom and compassion carry a healing message for me in my currents state of life.
As I began the Holy Season of Lent, I asked the Holy Spirit to help me listen to the inner voice that I have ignored for most of my life, a life that I have spent as a co-dependent. By God's Grace I am learning to truly listen.
Last month, I was going through a mammogram biopsy scare/challenge, and I went to Barnes and Noble in search of a book that thankfully was not released yet, and instead The Holy Spirit led me to your book. Thank God.
Ian, reading about your brutally honest relationship with your dad, helped me to see my relationship with my dad in a way that I never had before. It was scary, sad, heartbreaking, but needed. I am "waking" up to a reality that is finally making sense to me now. Thankfully the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Guadalupe are carrying me during this reality.

Greetings Father Cron,
My friend and I made the trip from Atlanta to Mars Hill back in late January. You taught beautifully about Communion. I see you as a bridge connecting Church people to the Kingdom of God. I am a quarter of the way into your book and it speaks volumes to me. I am enriched from having crossed paths with you.
Thanks.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the song! I'm glad you enjoyed my book. I'm speaking at Greenbelt but I don't think the lineup has been announced yet so consider it rumor until then!
Cheers,
Ian
