Tired:
I've got to catch up, so will have to do two today. Tired, I'm always tired it seems, but it's always my own fault. By the time it's bedtime, I'm wide awake even though I've been comatose most of the day.
Hope everyone had a great easter.

Signing:
I'm not signing up for another challenge for a long time. I'm not used to posting every day because I don't have time and I run out of topics of interest. I like writing about writing. So I'll just say, the ideas are flowing again for That Girl, my current WIP. I was having a hard time coming up with more than 21,000 words and the book deserves more. A few times per WIP, I have to step back and get out of my rut. I tend to get narrow minded as I write in my rush to the end. Wracking m...

"R" is for . . .

My pet peeve--rude people. There's no excuse for being rude to another person. It's the little things that burn me, like interrupting, purposely remaining in another person's chair when other person re-enters the room, then snapping at said person when asked to move. Honking at someone who makes a minor traffic boo boo, like they've never done anything wrong. It burping, without apology, stuff like that. In short it's hypocrisy.
Having said that, I am guilty of some of those things myself...

"Q" is for . . .

I can sit in the quiet for hours and hours, with nothing electronic on, well, except for my computer and coffee pot. I dislike noise, especially loud abrupt noise. I think it has more to do with my ears than anything. No, really, I was one of those children who had terrible ear infections back in the day. They didn't have the means, in those days, to address ear problems. Now, doctors look in my ears with those little lights and cluck. Lots of scar tissue. Sharp noises physically hurt m...

Pleased:
I am so pleased that I have picked up so many wonderful and interesting people from this A - Z challenge, but it's getting really hard to keep this going. I must prevail.
Thanks to my peeps for hanging in there with me.

"O" is for

Optimisum:
I finally had to admit what I've been denying for the majority of my life. I am a bit of a pessimist. This is not a good thing to be if you're a writer. For instance, and please don't think I'm not thrilled, but I earn about $0.53 per book sale. If I'd have done the math, I'd have realized that's what it would be. I asked my husband, "Why am I even writing?" His answer was, "Because you love doing it." Okay.

News:
You can't trust what you here on the news. Did you know, or maybe you have noticed, main stream media, ie: NBC,CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, The Associated Press and it's affiliates, are biased. I'm suspicious of news stations who only report one side of everything. But it's always been like that and there was a time when I fell for it. I'm thankful to have the internet which gives me choices and options, and two out of three times, what I learn from trusted sources on the internet, is the oppos...

Everyone has a list, even if it's just a grocery list written on a torn piece of table paper. As a writer, I've recently discovered the wonders of an outline. It's very helpful, but I still list. After I finish a chapter, if I know what's next,or if I have one of my brilliant ideas, I'll list them there at the bottom, before I start the next chapter, then I'll highlight them so I won't forget and leave them in the finished product.. They shouldn't call them lists at all, they should call...
