The vampires and werewolves are gone....for now.
I officially gave away the last copy of my first shipment. I have 3 that I am holding for friends and 5 that are going toward a giveaway as soon as goodreads approves it. If I had known that it was going to take 48 hours for the approval I would have extended the dead line. As you can tell from the previous post, it is still pending approval.
I have ordered 20 more copies. This set should have all the bugs worked out now from the looks of it. There were only a few minor formatting issues that no one saw unless I pointed them out.
So far the only criticisms that I have received are the names. Since Verloren's, Hania's and the Quatre are unusual names, it was suggested that I should have included a glossary at the beginning of the book with the proper pronunciation. It' an excellent idea, it sucks that I cannot change the format of the book now that it is off to the Library of Congress and the Copyright office.
But all hope is not lost. As I have stated before, my wish is to get all three books into publication within 2 to 2 1/2 years. Then my plan will be to combine all 3 into one edition and work with a graphic artist to make a professional cover.
Tomorrow my task will be to remove all the stickers from my car windows to put in place my graphic design for my website. I will be taking photos and posting them.
Until then...watch out for a guy named Verloren Fagan. You'll know him when you see him. He's a tiny guy wearing sunglasses and a twisted evil grin. Whatever you do, don't get too close to him. He's out there somewhere and I still haven't heard anything. I am eagerly watching for review.www.authorcvhunt.com

Where vampires and werewolves live.
So since I have a very limited budget for advertising I had a cheap idea to put the website out there and make it mobile. I stumbled across a website that does custom vinyl sticker. I didn't get them as large as I originally wanted only because I am very picky about small things like font.
I asked a few people for a catch line to grab a person's attention and that would relate to the book because there were some down falls to the two I was debating over. "Spread The Virus" and "Vampires Don't Sparkle". The first I thought would be to confusing for anyone that had not read the book and the other I was worried about copyrights.
In the end the words "Where vampires and werewolves live" and my web address were printed on 30" stickers to place across the back window of my car. The original pitch was "Endlessly...where vampires and werewolves meet." But I wanted to keep it book neutral and short. I could have--and would have loved to--gotten it 45" long and 6" tall but I was limited on fonts and I didn't care for any of them. But to go with a 30" by 4" I could choose any font that I could find.www.authorcvhunt.com

Got the first shipment.
I got the first shipment of books today. That's two days earlier than exspected. I only ordered 30 copies because I wasnt sure if people would be interested. I'm glad too, because I found some formatting errors before they showed up. I've already fixed them so that anyone that purchases it now wont have that issue. For some reason though people are happy to have the errors, the thought is that it proves they got some of the first copy.
I really dont think that the novel will make it big enough for you guys to make money off of my haste to ge tthe book done. Oh well.www.authorcvhunt.com

TV interview? Hopefully.
I'm well on my way to playing a good round of phone tag for a tv interview. I hope that I get it. It would be a great way to get the word out about the book. I couldn't ask for a better way to advertise it. It looks like I would have a heck of a drive in front of me to do it, but I think it could be well worth it.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

www.conglomeration.info
I got a nice invite from the assistant programming director of ConGlomeration. Not sure if I will go. She said that even though it's sci-fi they have added a lot of horror and paranormal stuff to their events. I'm not sure how accepting sci-fi fans are of vampires and werewolves.
Then again my editor is big on sci-fi and he seemed to enjoy going through the editing process with Verloren. I still have a month to make up my mind, or until all the tables are sold out.

Follow up.
Charles is going to do a review. After posting a clip about my book he has offered to do a review. I'm still waiting to hear back from two other sites. I had to fill out some long submission forms, but at least they told me they would let me know either way if they decided to do a review.
I want to jump back into the fourth book that I started from this series but I can't stop obsessing over trying to advertise Endlessly. I also have another book building in my head unrelated to this series. I need to get back to pounding the keys soon.
