“Finding A Way

I'd like you for a friend.
I'd like to find the way
of asking you to be my friend.
I don't know what to say.

What would you like to hear?
What is it I can do?
There has to be some word, some look
Connecting me to you.”
Myra Cohn Livingston

“like stars and starstuff
born to live,
to blaze,
and die.”
Myra Cohn Livingston, Space Songs
