We Started a Press Group!!

Hello my loyal readers! I have missed you! I have been busy with something that I am extremely excited to share with you all. And I finally get to do just that today.

We started a Press!
Yep, that's right. Jenn Sommersby, Heather Hildenbrand, and I have started our very own publishing group. "Why," you may be asking, "would go and do something that would take up sooo much time?" Because I'm basically already doing it! Heather, Jenn, and I talk all the time, share ideas about our books...

The Cover Conundrum

Hello my lovely blog followers. And if your just doing a drive bye-- Hello! Put your coat up and stay awhile ;)

I have been playing around with Photoshop lately. I am in love with that program. I only wish that I knew how to meld images together seamlessly. I am still at the "1 image is best" phase.

Anyway, here is what I did last night. I am sooo in love with it. I am seriously considering changing the cover for this first book. I love the original cover/title, but this is PERFECT. And it look...

Riding the Brain Waves of Angeline

I was a very busy bee this weekend. Friday night consisted of the Twitter Girl's Night. It was basically a drink-and-tweet-meet. It was in honor of Heather Hildenbrand finishing her draft of her current WIP, Dirty Blood. It was such a blast. Gals showed up with drink in hand, and then others just showed up because it was a hoot! I went back Saturday morning and reread everything that was tagged with our hashtag. I laughed incredibly hard while reading the tweets. I also realized that I had...

Long Time, No Blog

I figured I better take this lunch break to do a quick update. I know it has only been a week, but compared to me posting every couple of days I feel like a delinquent blogger.
I have been crazy busy lately. I'm not sure if it's because it's tax season at work so the stress of go-go-go carries over to my personal life, or if I am truly a never ending energizer bunny right now. I have work and school with its torturous homework. I am taking Holly Lisle's How to Write a Series course. I am abou...

Cool Swag

I have been revamping my Facebook page this week. Kait Nolan gave me the idea and forwarded the information I needed to get me started.

The fantastic Robin Ludwig helped me out with the image. Isn't it pretty?

Head over to my Facebook page to check it out. And while you're there "Like" me! I also added a Goodreads tab to the page as well.

Moderation and a Little Antoine Dodson

Moderation has always been something that I have struggled with. I first noticed this when I got out of high school and started dieting seriously. If I ate a Creamies popsicle, I couldn't eat just one. I had to have 5!

Luckily, I have been able to get that one under control. But I have noticed this trend in other areas of my life. Writing is not an exception. I hadn't written anything at all last week. Then Sunday rolls around. I woke up at 5:30 in the morning with a fight scene, that one I...

Descended by Blood Cover

I cannot covey the love that I have for Robin Ludwig right now. She is amazing, incredible, brilliant, talented, and all those other things you dreamed about having in a cover artist. I am so excited to share this cover with you all. I couldn't wait to get home to post it. I feel like a little school girl who not only made the cheer squad, but made the VARSITY cheer squad. Now, without further delay, I leave you in awe of the pretty!
