Exciting News About Something Exciting!

I got the proof for my cover yesterday from the marvelous Robin Ludwig! I am so excited about this. The cover looks amazing. I keep shrinking it down to the size of the book images in the recommendation scroll on Amazon to see how it looks. *pause while I pretend to see my book in the recommendation scroll*  Yep, it looks AMAZING! Quick Update and Some Tips

My goal for this week (not including the weekend) was to write 1,750 words. I am currently at 1,474. I haven't written today yet, so I am sure I will go above that goal. I am proud to say that I have made a good habit of writing everyday. My hubby asked to me today if I was going to be writing tonight. It has started to be a constant for him.

This Is Why I Write

This weekend has been incredibly successful as far as the amount of story I have completed. I started out the weekend thinking that I was going to shoot for 5,000 words this weekend. It was a good goal. Well, yesterday I finished 2,950 and today I did 6,359 for a whopping total of 9,309. Holy Cow!

Connect the Dots...Who Knew?

I am feeling much more productive this weekend than I was last weekend. I cleaned the kitchen, did the laundry, homework, finished 1/3 of GMC, by Debra Dixon, and was able to get a good chunk of writing in as well. The wheels are turning

I have been down on myself this past week for not writing as much as I have wanted to. I finally got in some writing last night and again tonight. I wrote over 1,000 words tonight, and I am very pleased with where those words are taking my story. I am starting to feel like I can be a good liar/story teller. I am not even to the really juicy stuff yet, but I like it! I think that if I were reading this book and had only read as far as to where I have written I would still be interested with it...

I have been incredibly busy lately. With school starting back up this month, I spend 2 nights a week at school, and then I have homework to do for both classes. The homework for both of these classes is pretty time intensive, so with working full time and going to school I have very limited time left.
