What's Happening with Angeline?

I have a ton of stuff happening this week!
First up: I got the proof of the paperback copy! It's so much prettier in person! I have a couple of adjustments to make on it, and then I can hit the "ok" button to send it off to distributors! And yes, you can request it at your local B&N, or buy it off Amazon, or whereEVER books are sold online! Plus, ebooks will be available for purchase, too! AND I will soon have an online store, so you can purchase all the goods here ;)
Next exciting piece of...

Fable Short Story with a Skin Giveaway!

Hey everyone! Today, I am featured on Tynga's Reviews for her Fantastic Fables event she has going on for the month of August! I'm really excited about this because her event has some awesome authors like Jeaniene Frost, Jocelynn Drake, Lisa Desrochers, and a bunch of other amazing authors!

My Fable is called The Vampire Who Was Too Obliging and is based off the Grimm Brother's King Thrushbeard fable. Brooke (Main Character in Descended by Blood) is in the story, which is set in the time and...

Paperback is a ##$@^$^^@$^

As all of you may know, I have finished with the editing of Descended by Blood. Whoo-hoo! Then I finished the layout and formatting for the ebooks. I was super nervous about that, thinking epub would be incredible tricky. I was surprised to find it wasn't so bad once I used Sigil (I love you Sigil creators!).  Never was I nervous about the paperback.

Oh, did I have another thing coming! I knew exactly what I needed to do to have the file good for printing. My problem? Not the interior layout, ...

Acknowledgments and Dedication

I just finished writing my Acknowledgments tonight. It's an experience that I hadn't expected would really be one. But as I wrote it, I bawled. So many people have touched me and uplifted me throughout this journey. I wanted to post my words here because many of the people listed have already read the book and I wanted them to see it. If I left anyone out, I am terribly sorry. Without further ado:

I have had these images for the past 2 days, and let me tell you, it has been HARD not to show you them. I didn't post this on Tuesday, when I got them, because I had already posted something on Tuesday. It was an important blog post, so I wanted to give it some time to garner your attention.

Zodiac Signs of My Characters

I am in the process of revising/editing Descended by Blood to turn up the awesome for the readers. A big part of the revision process is to make sure that your characters are consistent throughout the story. One of the most unpleasant things a reader can stumble upon is when a character does something that pulls the reader out of the story and says, "Huh? I didn't see him doing that at all. Lame." So before I tackle the story as a whole, I want to make sure that I have a solid understanding a...
