December Daily® 2019 | Story Sixteen
Welcome to story sixteen in my 2019
December Daily® album.
Today I'm including two stories from this season: (1) a photo of the kid's Advent calendars and (2) a photo of us celebrating Audrey's 11th birthday.
A quick reminder that you can check out my Foundation Pages post to see my general starting place for my project his year.
Here's a look at how this story came together:
First up, on the back of Story Fifteen, is a full page photo of the kid's Advent calendars this year.
I used the back of some speech bubble embellishments from the Read Collection along with the gold alpha from the Main Kit to mark them. I used foam dots to adhere the die cuts to the photo background.
I added a label sticker along the bottom of the photo and used Staz On ink and small wood stamps from Hampton Arts/Studio g (I believe this is a brand available at Michaels).
In between my two photos today is the cascading hexagon design I created for Product Play 3. It incorporates hexagons from the December Daily® Chipboard Bundle 1 along with punched pattern papers using this hexagon punch. Stars are from the Variety Sticker Bundle and Main Kit.
This page is built on a sheet of Grafix Clear Plastic.
Repeated shapes appear on the back.
From the Story Card Bundle I added the Making Merry onto the photo using foam dots (I rounded the top two corners). On top of that section I used the same alpha set stamp again along with embossing the number 11 and the date.

December Daily® 2019 | Story Fifteen
Welcome to story fifteen in my 2019
December Daily® album.
Today I'm sharing some thoughts on where I'm at with this season right now. I truly believe that writing these kinds of things down helps us to live more intentionally and I love getting it out of my head and my heart in order to help me move forward.
A quick reminder that you can check out my Foundation Pages post to see my general starting place for my project his year.
Here's a look at how this story came together:
To the back of Story Fourteen I added one of the metal pieces which was an Add On for Stories By The Month™ last month. I added that to the outside of the page protector.
For Product Play 3/my foundation pages I created the collage of numbers page that features a pattern transparency, gold foil chipboard numbers, and one of the plastic numbers from the Main Kit.
To complete this day I added a full page of journaling with "magic is something we make" added as the title. This page is sized to the page protectors in the 4x6 album.
You can download that word art here.
We've got this. Let's make some magic.

December Daily® 2019 | Story Fourteen
Welcome to story fourteen in my 2019
December Daily® album.
Today I'm using a foundation page I created for the
December Daily® Prep Day back in November. This was the first year we created a community even to celebrate and prepare together for this project and it was so, so fun. You can still grab the content from that day for just $5 here.
A quick reminder that you can check out my Foundation Pages post to see my general starting place for my project his year.
Here's a look at how this story came together:
This flip up page includes a cover that's made up of a variety of different star pattern papers, transparencies, and vellum all stitched together with a sewing machine and uses washi tape to hold the top piece to the bottom.
The rubber tree was included with the 12 Days Advent Calendar.
To my foundation page I added a black + white photo of Simon and me playing Mario Kart (used the timer on my phone to get this shot). On the underneath of the flip-up I created four, 1.5 inch squares for my journaling and used the title "How We Roll" to document what people were doing on this day in December.
On the bottom of the photo I used White Pigment Staz On to stamp the date.

December Daily® 2019 | Story Thirteen
Welcome to story thirteen in my 2019 December Daily® album.
Anyone else just tired?
That's totally me right now.
If you happen to be feeling like me here's a free download of that "just tired" word art I used in telling my story today.
Download the "Just Tired" word art here.
A quick reminder that you can check out my Foundation Pages post to see my starting place for my project his year.
Here's a look at how this story came together:
Today's story includes the back of yesterday's hexagon fold over + a 4x6 shipping tag cut down to fit into my album with journaling added to the front (actually the back - the other side features the FaLaLa pattern).
On the back of the hexagon fold-over I added a photo of my paper white flowers along with a star chipboard piece from this bundle. The chipboard star is adhered to the outside of the page protector.
My journaling is sharing about how tired I'm feeling right now (and how that's totally normal) and what I'm looking forward to this weekend. I added some of the Peppermint Lane Christmas Trim through the hole on the tag.

December Daily® 2019 | Story Twelve
Welcome to Story #12
December Daily® 2019.
Yesterday was a completely full day. I took the day off work to spend time with my Book Club for our annual holiday gathering + gift exchange. After that we celebrated Elliott's 13th birthday and then the girls and I headed to Anna's Christmas Program at her school.
Today's story is built upon a foundation I shared in the
December Daily® Product Play 3 workshop (template is included). I covered up a few things and removed a few things to make space for my photos and words. It ended up working well with the photos I wanted to include.
A quick reminder that you can check out my Foundation Pages post to see my starting place for my project his year.
Here's a look at how this story came together:
From the template in December Daily® Product Play 3 I was able to crop three photos and create a diamond shape for my journaling. Some of those were adhered on the original pattern paper and for others I pulled up the paper before adhering the photos.
On the outside of the flip-up hexagon I added a photo from my Book Club gathering as well as a gold metal rimmed circle tag and black number stickers.
Hope you have a lovely weekend!

December Daily® 2019 | Story Eleven
Welcome to Story #11
December Daily® 2019.
Can you count your Christmas card as a story? Yep. Punch some holes and add it right in there.
I'm feeling super thankful for quick + easy days when I've got a lot of other work I need to get done!
A quick reminder that you can check out my Foundation Pages post to see my starting place for my project his year.
Here's a look at how this story came together:
I debated a few different things for this day including using the green envelope I sent these cards in along with some White Pigment Staz On Ink (check out the video below where I show that being used).
Ultimately I ended up using another one of the gold foil journal cards.
Inside the main "box" on the journal card I cut a gold dot transparency to fit and added a chipboard circle and glitter tree on top. I considered adding journaling but in the end just went with some decoration.
I used a rolling date stamp to add the day and added one of the thick acrylic stars from the Main Kit into the little box along the bottom of the card.
I love our silly, jolly crew. Actually a quote like that would have gone great in the middle of that gold foil journal card. Ha. Next time!

December Daily® 2019 | Story Ten
Welcome to Story #10
December Daily® 2019.
This day was super easy and was all set up in advance. All I had to do today was add in my journaling and document ten things I'm loving right now. You can do this on any day!
A quick reminder that you can check out my Foundation Pages post to see my starting place for my project his year. More details from this page - including the Silhouette file + the loving journal card - were included as part of the December Daily® Product Play 3 workshop.
Here's a look at how this story came together:
The outside of my 10 features red glitter paper cut on my Silhouette. The backside includes pattern paper from Illustrated Faith. Both sides had gold puffy stars add on top.
The "loving" journal card features the chipboard number circles from the Main Kit.

December Daily® 2019 | Story Nine
Welcome to Story #9
December Daily® 2019.
Today I'm sharing a story without words. I decided I wanted to play a bit with creating a pattern on the back side of my photo and focused on that vs. a written story. I always love the reminder that this project is the sum of all the parts. Some days may have a long story and others may be super short. What's important to me is a mix of the two.
A quick reminder that you can check out my Foundation Pages post to see my starting place for my project his year.
Here's a look at how this story came together:
For this day I took a photo of my front porch and printed it to the size of the page protectors (7.25 inch x 4.25 inch).
I knew that I wanted to play around with creating a pattern on the back of the photo using either tags or circles from this year's collection. I ended up going with the circles.
From my foundation pages + Product Play 3 this day begins with a wreath created using fabric circle embellishments.
Inside the wreath I added a fabric heart from the Variety Sticker Bundle.
Love how the back of the fabric heart looks just like that when it's adhered to the transparent page.
I decided to not put anything on top of the photo and just play on the back. I added a piece of white cardstock and created a pattern of circles:
Loved playing around with a variety of circle textures and sizes from this year's December Daily® collection (including the Advent Calendar).
I added an eyelet (for the first time in years) to the large circle tag and threaded some red/white twine through the hole.
