Sequels

I'm a series girl and make no attempt to hide it. If I google an author or a genre and see that an author has several books in a series in the genre I'm searching for...they'll get my purchase before anyone else will. I love getting to know the characters and how they fit together. I look forward to the next book and how they continue to develop. 


What I don't like is characters being taken out of the books. I understand that some get killed off or move far away. That makes sense. But there...

Day #12: NaNo

So, another day of NaNo has come to an end. Still no real progress. Spent most of the day messing around with the kids and the other part of it checking on some *rules* (you'll see about what in one of tomorrow's posts). we also cooked and baked most of the day...which was nice. 


Christmas shopping is almost done as well -- but tons of wrapping to be done.


NaNo...we will meet this month -- I promise.

Day #11: NaNo

Today was another bust with being gone most of the day. And, of course, later this week I have visits to do here and there for my Bound release. I am getting slightly depressed in seeing that we're only 11 days in and some people have already make their 50K...and still others made it their goal to do 100K this month. 


I'm still not willing to say "I give up" just yet.
