Thursday 13 #9: Chat & Text
I'm a list junkie. I always love to see where everyone else ranks things and compare it to how much I use it or where I would rank it personally.
So, I have to admit, while I do text and IM....some of these I've never used before and they made the top :P

Day #23: NaNo
It looks as though a speedy recovery isn't in the ball park when you have one of your organs plucked out. The pain has to go away within a week. Right. Right? :OStill moving slow, it's great to have help though, so things aren't bad. And to be honest, I'm enjoying the lazy time with the kids. We're watching movies, doing simple crafts, reading and just talking. It's nice. We've even done some Christmas wrapping ☺NaNo word count isn't good...but we're having some great time at least.| ...

The Unexpected
Don't you just hate it when the unexpected hits? Especially when it seems to do nothing but hit over the course of a few months? Needless to say "The Unexpected" popped into view again this past week and threw off more of my schedule.
I had blog posts scheduled out on a multiple of blogs for Bound and was going to begin securing them for Oh the Pain (releases Dec 3) as well as kick my butt into gear for other deadlines.
Then...here comes a gall bladder issue. Almost a week later, it's gone...

Day #22: NaNo
YAY! Got to go home--getting the tube out of my side was no major thrill. The drive was horrid...every bounce and move hurts. So, you know, I'm hoping to bounce back and be running 5k in the next 5 days lolWord of advice though...since you have no recourse for a severe mis-diagnosis...when you can and when insurance allows....get multiple opinions. I never had before...and look where that ended everything up at.

Day #21: NaNo
Surgery day arrived and I had several days to think on it....talk about my nerves going insane. I had an emergency C-section 8 years ago--that wasn't so bad because there was little time to think or work up your imagination on it. Obviously things went as expected for the most part.
Originally they were simply going to remove stones. However, once inside they removed my entire gall bladder to do serous infection. Evidently I'd been mis-diagnosed quite some time ago with an ulcer rather than...

Day #20: NaNo
This was a very long Saturday even with pain meds lol. Did some chatting on the phone with the kids -- in less than 24 hours we were going nuts without each other. I love the bond that we have...but when we do have to be apart...it's always a bummer.Luckily for everyone--I did no writing while on morphine.

Day #19: NaNo
Today was back to the emergency room and to be admitted now that my kids and house and other matters were all set for a few days to survive without me. Evidently I have gall stones. How lucky can you be. Right?
