New Site Look

So, I'm working on a new look for my site :D Please bear with me while I change everything around and add in some links and menus for everyone again. Hopefully the revamp will be complete in the next day or two.

Day #7: NaNo

Unless bust again today, but I'm actually OK with it. ☺I did some other things and made a few difficult decisions. 


As writers, sometimes the most difficult part isn't really the writing. It's deciding what to do with it when it's complete. Who do you trust with the "baby" you've worked so hard on? And what do they promise you in return? How will they take care of it for you?


So, today, my focus was more on where I'll be placing my upcoming WIPs more than on writing.

Day #6: NaNo

WOW....almost a full week into NaNo...I'm holding strong at 48 words lol. Although this week i really do need to do some writing. My youngest isn't feeling well, so between giving him his medicine and him sleeping off being sick, I'll cuddle with him and my laptop and write.

Six Sentence Sunday #11

This week I'm bringing you six sentences from another untitled WIP. This book will be an erotic romance (at least I'd say so as it is right now--things can always change though).

Please note that while this six sentence portion is G rated. There will be sex within the book.

At what age do we realize that there is no Prince Charming? That our knight in shining armour isn't going to save us, pull us onto his horse and ride off into the sunset? Life isn't like television, books or movies. For me...

Day #5: NaNo

Well if you hadn't guessed, today is another big fat ZERO. At the end of 5 days, my NaNo word count stands at 48.


However, I did have a gleam of an idea earlier. Everyone does the 1K in 1 hour sprints. For some of us, a solid hour is near impossible to get without interruption. So, next week, I'm going to get together with some online writing buddies and we're going to try 15 to 20 minute sprints. Maybe make a little contest out of it and see if I can make up for lost time this week.

Upcoming Workshops: Promotions & Copyright/Piracy

I'm going to be conducting a copyright and illegal sharing workshop as well as a promotions workshop. This raises the questions of doing either of them before the holidays or setting up several after the first of the year. Also, what platform/location is preferred?
