There’s no I in ESTEEM.

My brain is so full of blah-g ideas my eyes are swelling. And yet I’m having a sticky writing day. So instead of giving you something clunky and gooey I’m going to keep this one simple. It’s a technique I made-up (there I go citing myself again) that helps with low self-esteem. I’ll use body issues as my example because this is something most of us can relate to, but you can do it with anything.

Turning Over A New Page

[image error]Hi everyone. This is Alisha, Lisi’s Editorial Assistant / Office Elf, and I’m helping Lisi out with another guest Blah-g spot while she’s out of town for a funeral. I know, I know, awful news and not the best way for me to kick off today’s post. Be sure to leave Lisi any of of your lovely, warm comments to show support while she’s away. I’m sure she will appreciate the love.

Speaking of the best way to kick off today’s post, I’ve got some exciting news for all of you and this guest spot might be the perfect opportunity for me to leak it. (Let’s hope Lisi agrees.) We’re saying good-bye to a few old things around here that will always be near and dear to our hearts, and welcoming some new life into the mix. What better way to do that than with a brand new place for all of us to hang out in the Blah-go-sphere?

That’s right, come next Wednesday we are going live with a brand new Blah-g that Lisi and I think you’re going to love. We wanted to add some freshness to your visits and make things a little more vibrant and fun, so we’ve done some overhauling and are turning over a brand new page.

Here are a few things to look forward to on the new page:

A new, clean layout to provide some aesthetic relief for your eyes.
Special messages from Lisi throughout the week. She’ll be reading through your comments and choosing ones to respond to in a special section.
Lisi’s revitalized Twitter feed brought back form the dead! (But with a new and improved twist.)

Above is a sneak preview from Lisi’s and my adventure in Beginning Photo 101 earlier today. We took a few shots that will hopefully make it someplace on the new Blah-g at some point in the near future. However, Lisi and I will not be adding Photographer to our professional resume just yet. Still, we are pulling out the stops to make this new Blah-g great! And if it takes us making fools of ourselves on the streets of Laguna Beach to achieve that, then so be it. More to come and you’ll see it all next Wednesday!
