You mentioned a bit ago that you'd like to do a tour in Canada someday, so would it ever be possible you could make a pit stop in Wisconsin or Minnesota along the way?
I would love to! The thing about tours is that we (the authors) don’t have much say in where we go. But it can’t hurt to tell your local bookstore that you want a particular someone (hint hint) around :)
if you had to choose an actor to play the darkling, who do you think would best fit the part? regarding looks and acting?
This question is impossible for me. But I will say this… I think acting chops and charisma are more important than a checklist of physical descriptors. Yes, the Darkling is supposed to have black hair and gray eyes and, y’know, be with the hotness, but it’s a lot more important that you believe he can conquer worlds without breaking a sweat.

Have you seen Colton Haynes in Teen Wolf? He is way more Darkling than Mal, haha. I know his hair isn't Darkling-ish but oh man, can he capture that type of character. <3
I must admit, I’ve never seen Teen Wolf. And, um, I’ve never watched TVD either. I know, I’m losing all YA cred.

anyways I finished it earlier and had to sustain myself somehow so I drew the Darkling (precious brilliant asshole I just want to cuddle him oh lord)
and slapped the obligatory lyrics over his mug because Miss Bardugo mentioned a song that fit him and oh god I couldn’t stop listening it’s been on repeat all day
yeah, I’m reblogging this again. Cuz it’s awesome & deserves love. This Darkling looks like he has a band, ya’ll. A GOOD ONE.
