I picked up Shadow and Bone as an after thought at the library, I was really there to get Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. Uglies was pretty good, but with Shadow and Bone I FELL IN LOVE! The characters, the story...everything just gripped me! I'm obsessed! Two
Dude. I looooove UGLIES. And I love Westerfeld’s Leviathan series, too. Have you read it? So inventive and beautifully imagined. Go get it!

I have something in common with all of my characters, but I’m not particularly like any of them. I guess I like to try to Genya’s fabulousness, but I’m really more like David—huddled up in my cave and working away.

Hello Miss Leigh!!! I was just wondering, and please don't think I mean this in an offensive way I'm just curious, but how exactly did you manage to get to see the new season of Korra? :) (Was it good?!?!?!) and I'm loving s&b by the way! This is my thirte

Mike and I met at Comic Con last year and did a couple of episodes of the Big Pull Podcast together. During which I may have tried to defend Amorra shippers to him. There was wine involved. ANYWAY, I traded him an ARC of Siege and Storm for a peek at the new season of Korra.
I can’t say much about it except that it was BEAUTIFUL and will be well worth the wait. So. Much. Awesome. I may have cried while watching one part. I REGRET NOTHING!

I am from Turkey and I am 15. I tried to translate Siege and Storm's first 25 pages. I did it. It takes me 2 days to translate and my fingers was very hurt. But i don't care, because I love it! So, I want it now, but it takes 8 months to translate :(
I can’t imagine the work that goes into translation, particularly with a book like Shadow and Bone where there are so many unfamiliar terms to deal with. I do know that the Turkish publisher wants to release Siege and Storm a bit earlier. It just depends if they’re able to make that happen with their schedule.

Alina is around 17 (she was 16 when drafted). Zoya is a few years older.
