Just finished Seige and Storm and I need to know once and for all ARE YOU TEAM MAL OR TEAM DARKLING? BECAUSE I CANNOT DEAL WITH THIS. WHERE THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO PUT MY FEELS? I think the Darkling has real feelings in him, real love despite all he did.
I’m sad for the feels, but glad for the feels. So I guess, sorry not sorry? ;) But okay, I’ll answer:
I’m not Team Mal.
I’m not Team Darkling.
I’m not even Team Alina.
I’m Team Story.
And yeah, that means no one is safe.
I’m glad (and very grateful) that you care about the characters, but I can’t give you a map. (If I wanted to make it easy I’d just have whomever I wanted you to hate kill a direwolf or something, because I’m sorry, that’s shiz you don’t come back from.)
I like heroes who struggle and screw up. I like bad men who pretend to be good and good men who pretend to be bad. I like good men who have forgotten how to be good.
I’ve sort of been antsy about the release of Siege and Storm because I know middle books are hard on readers who are invested enough to give a damn (and bless you all). I wish I could share everything that’s coming with you, but I can’t. I can only hope that you’ll stick with me til the end.
Hey Leigh! How's the tour? You excited! Just a quick question, what are the tour stops going to be like? Like, will it be a huge discussion between all of the authors, are you able to get books signed? :) Thanks and have a great tour!!! :D
On a Fierce Reads tour stop, the authors talk a bit about their books and then answer questions from the audience. We give away prizes, then perform a short interpretive dance. Okay, no dance, but yes prizes.
And YES then we all sign for as long as there are people with books there. Most of us also give away fun swag (like buttons and bookmarks!)

I’m afraid of babies. I fear babies for a lot of reasons. ��I’m an only child with a meager extended family; I never babysat in my neighborhood; I was raised by a single mother who was more likely to take me to a dinner party full of adults than an afternoon playdate. This wouldn’t be an issue if people weren’t always trying to hand me their infants. There’s simply an expectation that, if a female of a certain age has her hands free, she wants someone to fill them up with newborn, when really, in my case, a vodka tonic andâ�¦
