I have too many errands to run to respond to this in full, but I want to say this: One of my chief problems with the way Ros died was that it happened OFF SCREEN. We saw every damn minute of Theon’s suffering and there’s a clear implication that his suffering will have some big fat repercussions. Ros’ death was all about aesthetics. She became a tableau, set dressing. And then you could buy a poster of the image. Because beautiful death!
