"Healing Minds" release date
It's official! Book 5 of my "Shifters" series will be released on July 3rd. I am now on the coming soon page on the Dreamspinner website.

Now I get to work on "Master's Blood" which is book 6. And I know some of you are most eager to find out who becomes the love interest for Agent Poe... well in this book you find out! It will be released sometime in September, so you have a little while to wait.
trust me, its worth it.

Editing this, editing that...
Just finished the first official edits of "Healing Minds" and "Perdiot: War and Peace". *And* just finished my own edits on "Amethyst: Bow and Arrow" which is the 3rd book in my "Stones of Power" series.
That book is now with some betas. Whew!
Now I'm outlining book 4 in that series.
For you shifter fans, never fear! I will be writing more after "Master's Blood" but it might take a little longer. Working on two series at the same time is hard, especially when one of them has a fixed deadline.
I'm also trying to program my own website, so wish me luck!
I also got my first look at the cover for "Healing Minds" and I am thrilled. Life's looking up so far.

More Shifter books!
That's right: Books 5 and 6 have just been contracted with Dreamspinner Press.
They are: "Healing Minds" and "Master's Blood".
The release dates will be around July-August-September.
Also - "Peridot: War and Peace" will also be released in August. So I will have 3 books released at the same time - talk about exhausting!
It was such a relief to get those emails -after 3 weeks of utter crap the Universe decided to throw my way, I am so ready for good news and to look forward to the future. And now I can.

Book update!
Hello everyone!
Well, it's time for an update:
"Peridot: War and Peace" Book #2 of my Stones of Power series has been accepted by Torquere Press and will be released in August of this year. I am very proud of myself. And I am hard at work at Book #3.
But right now I'm filling out the marketing documents and the cover request form. That is always exciting and anxiety-filled. I always feel like I'm doing a homework assignment. lol.
As for my lovely shifters: I have two stories (Books #5, & 6) pending with Dreamspinner. I should hear back from them the beginning of March. So, yes, you might actually get TWO shifter stories towards the end of this year, maybe the beginning of next, depending on the production schedules.
I felt really good about myself when I had THREE manuscripts submitted at the same time.
That's it for now. I guarantee I will post when I hear back about my shifters! So keep checking back!

2 stories with beta!
I am very excited and grateful to the beta who is not only reading book #5 of my Shifter series, but also book #6. It would be so sweet if I could submit both books at the same time to Dreamspinner.
Also, Book #2 of my Stones of Power series with Torquere needs one more edit and then I can submit that as well. I could have three books coming out in 2013.

So far I've been getting mostly positive review for my stories so that encourages me. But, even if I wasn't getting not-so-good reviews, I'd still write. I love writing. I have to write. There is no way I could live happily and not write.

Update :D
Okay, so, I've finished the first round of self edits to "Healing Minds", the 5th book of The Shifters series with Dreamspinner Press. Now I'm hunting for a beta.
I really like the story now - I had to rewrite it from page one but it was all worth it.
I like the characters and the plot better. Now I can finish editing book #6 (which is already written) and clean that one up. Exciting!

Book 2: Love is a Whirlwind
Book 3: Blind Devotion
Book 4: Hunter and Hunted (released this month)
Celtic Warrior and Wolf Spirit is a direct sequel of Psychic Moon.
Also - I am finishing up the edits on "Peridot: War and Peace" which is Book 2 of my Stones of Power series with Torquere Press. I really enjoyed how that one turned out.
Things are just going swimmingly for me and I couldn't be happier!
Oh - and on a purely non-writing note - I saw "The Hobbit" in theaters yesterday. I loved it! I am a true tolkienite and I loved it completely. The Hobbit was, unfortunately, my least fav of Tolkien's books but this movie made me like it more. I always appreciated it because of its vital place within the Middle-Earth timeline but it never interested me much. The movie however, because of the added elements, taken from the appendices and Unfinished Tales, made me very happy. The story felt fuller. Can't wait for the next installment. :D

Book update
Well, it finally happened! I finally managed to write Book #5 of my Shifters series - "Healing Minds". That one was giving me such a headache! I had rewrite it from page one. But it was so worth it. Last weekend I finished it. This weekend I re-read it (still like it) and now edits will begin. I am so relieved!
Soon I'll need a beta, and then I'll be editing book #6 - "Master's Blood". (I had that one written already)
I'm also editing Book #2 of my "Stones of Power" series - I will hopefully be submitting that in the next couple of months.
And, on a more personal note, I finally have a stable job with benefits. :D

UPDATE!
Hello all!
Yes, I know I've been silent for a while - sorry! Got a job, working full time with temp status - trying to make it permanent - and completely exhausted!
But on to my books:
Well, I have finished Book #2 of my Stones of Power series (which Ruby: Lost and Found is Book #1). And I'm also continuing my shifter series with Book #5 which is tentatively titled "Healing Minds". Had to actually completely re-write this one from page 1 - Take a new direction with it. But crossing my fingers that refreshes everything and allows it to be better than before!
What's funny is that I have Book #6 all written (but I'm sure I will have to revise it) and can't do anything with it until Book #5 is done. Sheesh!
So there you have it - I'm bouncing back and forth between these two projects while writing and refining outlines for about a dozen others and thinking up a dozen more everyday. Whew! My imagination just won't sleep - not even when I do sleep. lol.

Well, it has finally happened! My first novel has been published by Torquere Press! *throws confetti*
It should be in print before too long - you can get the print version off amazon.
This is my first uber-fantasy novel and I am very proud of it. And now I'm working on Book 2 of the series (thirteen books total). I finished draft one but I have about 3 or 4 to go through before its ready for submission.
Please take a look at the blurb. And the awesome cover art - I wanted anime and boy howdy, I sure got it! :D

Blind Devotion
... will be available on August 15. The cover art is amazing and I enjoyed revisiting the story during my edits - it had been awhile.
This is book 3 of my series. I have book 4, 5, and 6 written. I hope DSP takes them all!
